I like the attention. It's a bit of a thrill being someone's treat. The person they go to relax and confide in. They look forward to seeing me all week and that's a pretty powerful feeling.
Yes she feels the same way. She enjoyed living out someone else fantasy. So for some it is not just the money.

Yes... but would she do it if there were no money involved...

Without the money it is what many single women do without becoming professionals!

yea but why do it for free when she can have guys pay her and they appreciate her better. I think it is more of a rush for her when guys pay her and give her things and take her places.

Then why not do it for free?????
In her mind why do it for free when guys will pay her. Doing it to free I think was what she use to do but she learned it is more intense when guys like me pay her. Then once she get paid how can sh go back to free. I think if she ever got a boy friend she would expect him to pay her or she would just hang out with the next client who was willing to pay her and pay her more. Why give it away when she can get paid. Or at least that is what I think she must be thinking.

Read the book Fast Girl and I think you will understand the rush that takes place. Interesting......

If this is the book you are referring to....then I think you must have cherry picked a few lines to reinforce your mysoginistic male point of view about women and sex....was not the point of the book to share the trials and tribulations of a bipolar, mentally ill woman??

The former middle distance Olympic runner and high-end escort speaks out for the first time about her battle with mental illness, and how mania controlled and compelled her in competition, but also in life. This is a heartbreakingly honest yet hopeful memoir reminiscent of Manic, Electroboy, and An Unquiet Mind.

During the 1990s, three-time Olympian Suzy Favor Hamilton was the darling of American track and field. An outstanding runner, a major sports apparel spokesperson, and a happily married wife, she was the model for an active, healthy, and wholesome life. But her perfect facade masked a dark truth: manic depression and bipolar disorder that drove her obsession to perform and win. For years after leaving the track, Suzy wrestled with her condition, as well as the loss of a close friend, conflicted feelings about motherhood and her marriage, and lingering shame about her athletic career. After a misdiagnosis and a recommendation for medication that only exacerbated her mania and made her hypersexual, Suzy embarked on a new path, and assumed a new identity. Fueled by a newfound confidence, a feeling of strength and independence and a desire she couldn’t tamp down, she became a high-priced escort in Las Vegas, working as “Kelly.”

But Suzy could not keep her double life a secret forever. When it was eventually exposed, it sent her into a reckless suicidal period where the only option seemed out. Finally, with the help of her devoted husband, Suzy finally got the proper medical help she needed. In this startling frank memoir, she recounts the journey to outrun her demons, revealing how a woman used to physically controlling her body learned to come to terms with her unstable mind. It is the story of a how a supreme competitor scored her most important victory of all—reclaiming her life from the ravages of an untreated mental illness. Today, thanks to diagnosis, therapy, Kelly has stepped into the shadows, but Suzy is building a better life, one day at a time. Sharing her story, Suzy is determined to raise awareness, provide understanding, and offer inspiration to others coping with their own challenges. (less)

I hadn't thought of it that way...

Men get a huge ego and libido rush when they feel wanted and desired by a woman they consider to be beautiful and desirable.

So why not a woman who gets an ego and libido rush from being so desired and desirable that men will pay large sums of money and fall all over themselves to make love to them...

Learn something new each day...

Wow you really did a detailed analysis of the essence of the book. I just focused on the few chapters on ho she got drawn in. It happens very easily and how she embraced it and it escalate into the high and the drive to.do more and become the best SP in Las Vegas. It thought that was hat was most relevant for our discussion.

I always thought that working in a slaughterhouse would be the worst job imaginable.

I could do a lot of jobs, but that is one that I could never do.

I went to an sp that I am not going to identify. My third/fourth visit and she was burnt out.
I felt sorry for her. So much so I didn't even want to do the deed.

I paid and I left.
If you're not up for this. Don't waste your own time, and the clients.

/end.
Sp's don't get free speech?
