Because there are multiple problems facing the black community.

Black culture and communities were attacked for decades by the majority culture, and they are now seriously broken, which results in all kinds of internal problems -- broken families, gang culture, pro-violent and antisocial role models.

It's absolutely true that they have those problems.

It's ALSO absolutely true that they face horrific discrimination by the police that frequently results in unlawful shootings of black people by police.

Maybe you should consider that both things are problems.

So according to your "logic", it's ok for cops to indiscriminately kill black people, because they do it to themselves.

Instead of just reading the words Black Lives Matter, try to understand what the intention is. Try to use your brain.

Judging by the name (Syed Ali), the young man murdered last night is most likely Muslim. Maybe black Muslim.
