What's with this crap. It is time wasting and profoundly irritating. And most of the time the dammed letters are illegible. You keep guessing and guessing until some clarity emerges.
Can you enlighten us Mods as to how it enhances security? It even intercedes in between screens. Shouldn't once at LogIn be enough?

I haven't had any problems at all..

I logged in and stays logged in since a long time ago... I don't log out at all.

Every time I come to the forum I go straight to it nothing else happens.

Same goes on my phone browser.

Both PC and android are Firefox browser.

I don't believe you. I get it constantly and have gotten it constantly since it was implemented. You may be browsing on a fixed line desktop but I think those who have gone mobile get it every single time we connect to a different cell tower or something.

I will get it not only when I first open the site, but every few minutes while I browse it.

For example I just clicked save, then edit to add this paragraph and I got the captcha. I believe you most users don't see it but I don't believe "99.9%", if I had to bet I would bet it is affecting a quarter of us, based on posts to these threads.

Very hard to submit a post. Keeps getting lost or somehow messed up and the message box takes forever to appear to allow one to create a post. This is a perfect example where the system destroyed my original message. Hope this one makes it through.

Why is it so different for so many users. I only use my mobile device on LTE and check terb many times a day through out the GTA and sometimes rest of Ontario and never get these issues after that whole ddos attack and original acces delay issue that lasted a couple of days. It's weird that some users are experiencing these random problems like this.

I've never had to fill out a captcha but lately I find terb does not stay logged in if I click on an external link.

This sounds like my experience as well. I've learned to copy what I'm about to post because not infrequently I have to put in a captcha enter it the screen goes to white and just hangs there this of course results in the loss of the comment.

One pattern seems to be that those of us posting from the US are getting it a lot, but I also got it when I was in Toronto last week.

I was setting up a couple of different scenarios with US TV providers like Hulu. I tried out a VPN service hotspotsheild and up can that came thingy. The first time I saw that thing was sending to the IBC / FSCO a tip, it took me so many guesses I'd have to be a computer just to figure out what the hell they typed.
So maybe it is a setting issue or VPN that brings up the prob.
