What are you? His #1 fan? I'm sure he's had his moments where he was a nice guy. But evading child support for 13 kids is terrible. Assault? Shoplifting? Attempted murder? This guy was a punk to put it mildly. A good rapper but a punk.

Nah, I'm not his number one fan.
But I do like Wu-tang and ODB was an integral part of the group.

Like I said, he's wasn't the greatest guy in the hip hop world but nor was he the worst.
That's the life of a gangsta rapper!!!

The life of a gangsa rapper???

Seems like another lame excuse to abuse the system. Our youth might have a better outlook on life and society if we didn't allow this "gangsta" crap to continue. IMHO there is nothing more pathetic then a 30 something man/woman going yo yo yo to what is considered music to impress 13 year old kids.

Its also lame to blame "gangsta rap" on what's wrong with our youth today. Might as well blame violent movies and video games.
Its North American society that needs fixing and removing "rap" music from the equation really does nothing.

In Japan (among other nations), "gangsta rap" is extremly popular but the youth are not running rampant.

ODB had a lot demons, he just couldn't let go of the ghetto mentality. It should be a lesson that is taught to others with a rational explaination (growing up poor, drug abuse, possible mental illness, etc...) and not with biased opinions.

The Oooooh baby I like it Raw video and the Woo ha remix with Busta Rhymes were two great videos.

O.D.B would have been fun to party with.

Yes, he would be pretty fun too party with but you might want to pass on the crack.

I thought the "Bitch You got my money" video was pretty funny in that since he was in jail they just used clips of "Ooooh baby, I like it Raw" video.

There's no business, like show business!!!

If you think it would have be fun then theres tons of punk ass gangsters here in Toronto you could party with. A lot of pimps who could throw down a rhyme or two, have a crowd of girls around ya, and get ya some crack too.

The guy was a common street thug who had a little talent and a lot of luck that got him some money and fame.

If it wasnt for the luck, he would have continued to be a street thug, the kind you can see every day on the streets of Toronto.

I got less of a problem with him than I do with the people who think hes some idol.

Sorry to say mtl_guy...

Like him or not the dude had talent, however, I'm sure that there's a Platinum Blonde, Cory Hart or Flock of Seagulls Greatest Hits CD out there for you to enjoy.

You may want to listen indoors lest all those pimps, thugs and ho's get a hold of you and make you smoke crack. LOL

Why would you make that comment?

How do you know what kind of music I listen to and how do you know Im not a hip hop or rap fan?

I called the guy a piece of shit because he was an excon, criminal, crackhead, deadbeat dead many times over, etc and not because I didnt like his music.

I sort guessed you as more of a Mitsou, Celine Dion and Daniel Lanois kind of a guy.

Word.

I saw Guerilla Black on Lex In The City and Lex couldn't get over how Guerilla Black had the exact same flow and waist line as the leate great Biggie Smalls.

Lex in the City is a show on the Playboy network. Hosted by Lexington Steel, an African American Pornstar.
Sort of Nightcalls 911 with urban black edge.
Once in a while they bring in hip hop or R&B artists to the show for an interview and to perform.

Thanks Manji, I don't subscribe so I may never see it unless someone lower on the dial picks it up.

Highly doubtfu, blitzl!!!
Unless Baby Blue on City TV or Showcase decides to amp up the sexual content, I think Lex in the City will stay on Playboy.
