Hi all, I have to ask and will take any responses. Experienced, MAs and SPs welcomed to chime in themselves.

What percentage of pics on BP are real? I don’t need to know about bad service or broken promises. I’m just curious about how many of those pics posted are actually done by the girl I’m them? 50% more? Less?

Thanks

My advice, read the ad if they provide other information like a twitter link, email, or website... this would tell you they are serious as they have taken the time to add those links to the ad. Also, if they have a twitter you can see how they are interacting with others, which can confirm they aren't a "bot" or someone "fake". A website listed can also provide you with more information about them. Usually, this will defer you from really looking just at a backpage ad but doing your research on the lady/ladies you are interested in.

Warm hugs,

I find that about 20% of BP ads are real. I can browse a full day's ads in about two minutes, the same fake ads are always there. I skip over so many of them, and there's always new fakes popping up as well. I always operate with the mindset that if it looks too good to be true, IT IS. But considering that these fake ads are constantly showing up means some people out there are falling for them. Every day there are postings with pictures of women who look like supermodels. Don't get me wrong there are some beautiful women in Ottawa, but some of those ads are comical, and it's pretty obvious from the thumbnails that these ads are fake.

Do google searches on the photos, google search the phone and look for the review on here. The main concern after "are they her pics?" should be "is she a robot, heavily sedated or being forced?" and then with your answers you can find a lady worth seeing.

To be honest I’m just curious. With all the threads about the Ottawa scene being “dead” I’m just wondering if BP is we remotely an option. Like I said just curious really.

It’s getting harder to tell real from fake. There’s one ad I’m interested in that appears to be legit (non-generic formatting, short video clip), but Googling the number shows it’s on a website claiming the number has been used by the police in the past. But if that’s true, why aren’t past ads with that number showing up in searches? My guess is that the warning website is just harvesting numbers from BP to generate web traffic. But who knows for sure? I’m not TOFTTing this one, which is kind of unfortunate if she’s legit.

I have encountered the Police Sting Scam when Googling numbers, but ignore the warnings.

Punters Google a prospective SPs number, and get a hit indicating that the number is a Police Sting.

Naturally that is a Buzzkill to the Intrepid Punter, who goes to another Girl.

It is my understanding that those Sites enter SPs numbers in a Database, and then charge the SP to have the number removed.

This is a Scam targeting the SPs to limit competition and/or to extort money from them.
Thanks! That’s what I suspected but it’s very useful to have the reassurance based on your experience.
