Please don't tell me that you think the train crashed because men decided to "stand down" and let the SJWs handle it?
White men decided to not do their job and let the train crash on purpose?
"Going Galt", but even stupider?

Tell me that's not where you are going with this.
Yeah, all the blue haired, nose ringed, SJWs, non-binary, binary, LGBWTESSAFWS+2-1(5-3) and "healthy" people are on the case.

Regulations were dropped about shipping railcars full of vinylcloride.

Remember: keep the government out of our businesses.
What specific regulations were dropped? And since we don't know what the cause of the derailment was isn't it premature to blame so called dropped regulations? Bottom line is if the company didn't comply with proper safety measures they will be paying for it for years.

Because it hasn't been covered extensively for something AS SERIOUS as this. In case you missed my previous post, nothing from Biden (democrat) or the Governor of Ohio (republican).
There was another report saying the water was fine and safe to drink.
They literally just "nuked" the town and surrounding areas or did you not see the girl in the video talking about first hand experiences from her friends and herself?
There's been radio silence for awhile and it's only starting to come out now, but during last week everyone was too busy talking about air balloons, UFOs and the Super Bowl.
Btw, did you know Rhianna is pregnant?
I’m just saying, what you said was not reported, actually was. So maybe it is not enough for you but it is false to say it has not been reported on at all. Sorry. I’m just using your own examples and the article posted in this thread.

It has been reported that the people in charge decided to burn off the vinyl chloride in order to clear the tracks sooner.

If that is true, that is a monumental mistake.

On any major network? No.
On the smaller one, yes.

This is a huge disaster, but again, Rihanna made more headlines on the mainstream than this did.
That's the point.

Did you know Rihanna was pregnant? Hear about the "Chinese balloon" or the few UFOs? Sure you did.

If this is true about Biden and PSR, why listen to professional workers on the rail system, what do they know right?

This is the issue with capitalism. Proponents say that the free market will alway err on the side of good. The theory being that if a company like this fucks up, customers will go to other providers/suppliers/businesses. But, that doesn't enter into management's mindset. They only care about the immediate share price and the short term viability of the organization. They would rather spend billion of profit on stock buybacks or dividends (which helps all the C-Suite level guys because they likely own a lot of shares or have options to them) instead of upgrading systems.

And Biden has a major role into this as well. He blocked a potential strike from rail workers who wanted sick pay/time. The union has been trying to let people know about this type of deregulation that allows dangerous chemicals to be shipped like this without the proper oversight.

For anyone who knows about the rail industry, the former CEO of both CP & CNR, Hunter Harrison, promoted something called Precision Scheduled Railroading, which boosted profits sky-high, but crushed workers rights. Basically, its a system that allowed the companies to cut the workforce and force customers to ship on the railroad's schedule. It also makes railways less safe for a variety of reasons...

But this sounds like an ecological disaster that isn't going to get better anytime soon.
I'm sure that Trump and the GOP would be right in there fighting for that union. Trump ALWAYS did that back in his New York slumlord days.

Data shows additional chemicals present on derailed Ohio train
Additional chemicals aboard derailed train had potential to be deadly, experts said.

There were more toxic chemicals aboard the train that derailed in Ohio than originally reported, new data shows.

State health officials were initially concerned about the presence of vinyl chloride, a highly volatile colorless gas produced for commercial uses, which spilled after about 50 cars on a Norfolk Southern Railroad train derailed in East Palestine, Ohio, on Feb. 3 while traveling from Illinois to Pennsylvania. Other toxins, like phosgene and hydrogen chloride, were emitted in large plumes of smoke during a controlled release and burn, prompting officials to issue mandatory evacuation orders in a one-mile radius of the crash site.

A list of the cars that were involved in the derailment and the products they were carrying released by Norfolk Southern reveal several more toxic chemicals that were released into the air and soil following the crash.

Among the substances were ethylene glycol monobutyl ether, ethylhexyl acrylate and isobutylene were also in the rail cars that were derailed, the list shows.

Contact with ethylhexyl acrylate, a carcinogen, can cause burning and irritation of the skin and eyes, and inhalation can irritate the nose and throat, causing shortness of breath and coughing, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

MORE: Why the toxins from the Ohio train derailment could have posed deadly threats for residents nearby
Inhalation of isobutylene can cause dizziness and drowsiness as well, while exposure to ethylene glycol monobutyl ether can caused irritation in the eyes, skin, nose and throat, as well as hematuria, or blood in the urine, nervous system depression, headache and vomiting, according to the CDC.

The toxins that burned in the wreckage had the potential to be deadly if officials did not order evacuations in the region, experts told ABC News last week. However, once the controlled burn was complete, the only risk of coming in contact with the toxins was if they were embedded in the soil, which then had to be dug out, Kevin Crist, professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering and director of Ohio University’s Air Quality Center, told ABC News last week.

The evacuation orders for the residents in East Palestine were lifted on on Feb. 8 after air and water samples that were collected in the region were deemed safe.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Monday evening that has not yet detected any concerning levels of toxins in the air quality that can be attributed to the crash since the controlled burn was complete. There are six EPA staffers and 16 contractors on the ground to assist with air monitoring actions, according to the agency.

"Residents may still smell odors from the site," the EPA said, suggesting that those experiencing any symptoms call their medical provider.

Yes. No particular color of skin. Stoic men are the enemy so myself, and us, are standing down watching the fire.
Except this is a case of corporate greed causing regulators to stand down.

p.s. First source I saw discussing this was one of those SJW environmental hippy type commentators.
