While you may prove correct calling it at this point is to put it mildly premature. At least we're going for Romney.

He has Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and almost certainly Colorado.

It is over.

Wisconsin for Obama

Why couldn't Paul Ryan deliver Wisconsin, his home state for Romney? Isn't he supposed to be the rising star in the GOP?

Probably because a lot of cheese heads could tell that Romney and Ryan were the real cheese heads?

I thought I read that he had problems with Wisconsin because he was from a rural area of Wisconsin, not urban. Trying to find the article now, but I can't find it.

Nate Silver calling Florida for Obama to be won by a hair. Silver is just ridiculously good, damn.
As mentioned earlier by Fred, mostly Democratic precincts have to come through still with votes.

Even if Florida comes through for Romney, there's Ohio. It looks like it's done. Alex Castellanos just came out and agreed with James Carville that it's over. lol

Now watch something sketchy come out of Florida, I wouldn't put it past them. Circa Bush/Gore 2000.

Thank god
Obama may not have lived up to his promise, but Romney would have been an absolute disaster for pretty much every demographic except the 1%
Unfortunately, the Republicans are going to be even more opposed to Obama doing anything constructive, and since they have the House, look for them to block all (or most) of Obama's key initiatives, regardless of merit
Glad not to live in the US
But at least Mitt is not President. That's a very good thing

Gotta stop looking at this stuff as if it was a prizefight. That's the way we all lose.

It would be useful if you guys could bring yourselves to imagine third or even fourth parties, 'cause there's sure more than two colours in any sane person's crayon box. Or views of reality.

The sad part of this arguement is that right now the world needs a leader to lead them out of this disaster. Obama is not a great leader, all he does is make excuses and display his lack of school in handling the economy. The sad part of it is North American society is driven by media presentation and no substance. You are right that the Dems/Rep are even more farther apart then before. He has shown that he cannot have both sides to work together. I'm not saying he is not intelligent, or has good intentions, but he is not the person to lead the country or world to prosperity.

I congradulate him tonight but fear the future.

It's two hours after you posted and none of the major networks are calling Colorado or Nevada and there seems to be dispute over Ohio.

With all do respect OJ and I do respect you for your eloquence and class. The 2008 election was a fairer competition as McCain is an honourable person and always will be. But over the last 4 years with the tea party influence and then, Sen. McConnell's statement that every move the house makes should be to defeat Obama etc and then with the emergence of a person like Romney as the candidate with his unprecidented dishonesty and flat out lies, and 47% it has been cultural warfare. So tonight and tonight only let us just act like victors in this cause of a man most of us admire and treat our foes as the vanquished. As a Canadian I am happy for our American brothers and sisters that they truly made out wonderfully.
