On the highway of life
I'm glad the rest of you beat up on this turd before I could jump in here. LOL I *think* the actual location may have been 403/QEW westbound in Burlington. We're not allowed in the left lane until about 500 m before the Brant St. ramp, and yes it's a huge fine. As for the Main St/Hwy 6 stretch, I'm not so sure we're allowed to be in the left lane there.

Now, what was the idiot's plate number again? I gotta go "pop some pills". LMAO!!!

SO, Tugg Speedman, are you still all butthurt, or are you man enough to admit that you were in error?

I agree. The original poster is a douche bag behind the wheel. Centre lane hogs are as much of a pain in the ass and a problem on our highways as left lane hogs.

In several European countries, flipping another driver the bird anywhere near a cop would get YOU a ticket for Driving Without Due Care And Attention regardless of what a douche the other driver was being, and reading this the OP would thoroughly deserve the charge.

Judging by the way you handled yourself on this thread Speedman you've got some serious attitude issues and I can see how you can piss off other drivers, not to mention your negative views on the OPP, hopefully you won't need their help one day.

Good thing that truck driver wasn't me when you flipped the bird.

You need an attitude overhaul.

As I explained to that douchebag already, I couldn't get over-it's called rush hour and I had to stay in the middle in order NOT to end up in Hamilton in the right lane.

The problem I had was this pill-popping degenerate laying on the horn for no other reason than being frustrated.

Darn the luck!
Speedman..you are the douche , make no mistake about that...speed up , get out of the way, and let the guy pass, end of story, your blood pressure would of remained normal, and you wouldnt have continued frustrating youself by posting this selfserving drivel...oh and you also a douche for saying that he was pill popping...where,s your proof?..or were you in lala land with aJames Taylor tune on your ipod when you made that assumption?

I realized long ago that many stupid people are too stupid to know how stupid they are. Same goes for bad attitudes.
There's an excellent research paper on just such a phenonmeon. Justin Kruger and David Dunning at Cornell University demonstrated it in psychological studies and published their findings in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology in an article entitled “Unskilled and Unaware of It: How Difficulties in Recognizing One’s Own Incompetence Lead to Inflated Self-Assessments.”

People tend to hold overly favorable views of their abilities in many social and intellectual domains. The authors suggest that this overestimation occurs, in part, because people who are unskilled in these domains suffer a dual burden: Not only do these people reach erroneous conclusions and make unfortunate choices, but their incompetence robs them of the metacognitive ability to realize it

Anywhere there's a Strip Joint
He didn't pull you over , so get a life...you have no beef.

You sound like the guy at work that was pulled over today driving with an expired sticker from June....when he gets to work he calls his cop buddy on the same platoon and he says he'll take care of it.

I think that Tugg has some built up inner emotions. I think that to clear this inner strife, he needs to go sit in a corner and tugg something. He should feel much better and relaxed afterwards.

The transport driver sees the O.P.P car and suddenly drives slower and gets into the right lane
I was NOT able to get over into the right lane
So the big truck was able to change into the right lane as soon as he saw the cop but you in your little car could not switch to the right lane during the entire incident leading up to that point? Perhaps you need to learn to change lanes more effectively or, alternately, pick one story and stick to it.

A final Point.
The OP wrote he was using cruise control. He also wrote that traffic was so heavy he could not change into the right lane.
Which was it? Was traffic free and clear, thus being safe to use CC..or was it heavy...thus making it unsafe (and pretty damn dumb) to use CC?

GoTuggsomething has dropped out of this discussion. Maybe he has finally seen the light, the error of his ways and is currently cruising the highways of the GTA in cruise control in light to heavy traffic, in a three lane, or is it two lane, roadway with cops appearing out of nowhere. Hopefully he is being courteous this time and allowing the trucks to pass.

What is this ? Sign post ahead ... 'You are entering The Twilight Zone'.

This reminds me of the movie "Duel" with Dennis Weaver. Weaver is a guy driving along and gets into a 'road duel' with a trucker. Good movie.

Who drives with their cruise on in heavy traffic?

I drive about 60k per year. Unfortunately these idiots are a dime a dozen.

Coulpe of things though...OPP and truckers = dicks (I know I'm generalizing) The OPP are tax collectors for the most part. Just ask a metro cop.

Trucks in Ontario are legally governed to not exceed 105 km per hour - there are major fines if a transport vehicle does not comply. At the truck weigh stations, speed governors are also checked now. So if you are holding up trucks, you are a real loser. They have a job to do, and basically can't use passing lanes because they can no longer reach speeds to efficiently overtake traffic. Please be polite enough to move over for them, or just grow some balls and get your speed up to 106 and you will have no issues with transport trucks tailing you.
