Last time I was at Nuden I was ripped off by a dancer who double counted the songs in the champagne room. Despite that terrible experience, I stopped by last week because I was shopping at St. Laurent Mall nearby. It was sunny outside, and when I went got inside my eyes needed to adjust to the darkness. So I stood for a few minutes near the pool tables to let my eyes adjust. There were maybe 10 customers and maybe 5 girls there. A girl came on stage, and immediately some douche bag management guy came at me like a heat seeking missile and said I had to buy a drink if I wanted to stay in the club. I had literally been inside maybe 5 minutes. Complete turn off. This place is so desperate for cash and should just shut down. They don't care abut the customers at all.

The property where Robbie's Restaurant was. next to the Nuden, was sold some time ago. The Katasa Group plans to build a podium with two residential towers of 20 and 25 stories on top,. St. Laurent LRT station is about two kilometers away and a rapid bus transit station is slated to be built about 275 meters from the property, That whole area ,close io rapid transit, will likely be rezoned for high rise buildings and will be redeveloped.

The property the Den is on is a quite large property. The old building not worth much, but the property is worth millions, More when the zoning is changed. Eventually a developer will make an offer that the owner will not want to refuse. The Den is just hanging on until such an offer comes, as it soon will..
