Nope, I have love for everybody. I don't hate, I look at people and see their worth by their determination and their attitude to succeed. You can call him a phony all you want but at the end of the day he gets more bitches, has more money, has a bigger house and drives a faster car.

I'm very honored for you to remember me from "another thread" hence my username is very distinct. Just because theyre rich don't mean they don't have problems of their own, instead of looking for the next meal.. maybe it was deciding what to eat.. Instead of saving up money and debating which car would better suit his needs... maybe it was deciding which one he shouldn't buy cos he won't have room in his 4 car garage. More money more problems, biggie said it first.

i dont know Drake,s music and i dont care if he came from Forest Hill....however i dont think he needs some psuedo tough guy like you defending him....oh and if your definition of "sucess" is banging random groupies , bitches as you so eloquently describe them, having the biggest house or fastest car, then you have a rather shallow, , superficial, immature idea of sucess.....yep success and happiness is measured by how many garages one has...how sad..

i have this feeling that having an intelligent conversation with you is virtually impossible, because any discussion will invariably end with it being centred around you, something that occures with self centred narsissists

Long before Maestro Wes Williams was born Toronto had two cultural giants that put us on the map musically: Glenn Gould and Oscar Peterson.

Looks at calender to see if it's April 1st
Exactly... I respect the success he's had, but I really, really don't understand why. It's not that I dislike rap/hip-hop etc., I just don't get his so called "music". Heard one Drake song, you've heard them all. His lyrics are simplistic and sound like something a Grade 6 kid spit out. His voice is a computer-enhanced monotone. His gangsta routine is comical...

This isn't to say he's any worse than lots of other current "stars" but I don't understand the success. More power to him for pulling it off though.

I grew up in the ghetto with my fair share of black friends, thugs and criminals of various sorts.
I know people who have been stabbed, shot, killed in a drive by etc. I'm not proud of it but I can call them friends and allies, because at the end of the day, knowledge defeats fear.
Ghetto? In Toronto? Maybe relative to other parts of the city (M..a..y..b..e..), but Toronto has no ghettos. What does having black friends have to do with it? Thinking it entitles you to a 'black pass'?

I mean how much did he see coming from such rich upbringing in Forrest Hill.
I'm sure his family had their Forrest Hill versions of struggles/hardships.... Do you know how difficult it is to get oil stains out of cobblestone driveways? lol "Started from the bottom now we're here"

LOL no ghettos? Back 10 years ago jane and finch was a warzone, regent park, some other blocks i shall not name. Not as bad as the states, but still shootings, robberies, rapes, extortions etc. Toronto is a big city, bigger by the day, each region around has its own good and bads, but before you talk to me about this city know your place.

Why does this post make me doubt you grew up in the hood? Either you've changed your view on Drake and gone sarcastic or just plain nuts.

Suggesting that a decision of what dinner to have made for you is 'Mo Problem' than starving is completely off the wall.

Correction - how hard it is to pay someone to get the stains out fast enough. But as the OP quoted, Mo Money, Mo Problems.

This is the attitude of someone who grew up listening to hip hop wishing that it was real and borrowing mom's car to cruise yonge street on Saturday night, repeatedly driving over the bit from Queen to Gerrard that kind of looks big city American, while fantasizing.
