Pardon my mistake mods if this is in the wrong place. I didn't think it belonged in the Buy & Sell area, and there didn't seem to be another appropriate home for it. I wanted to post this to inform others about something that may be of interest to them. I do not work for any mentioned company - this is just for information purposes.

After reading through many profiles of various people registered here, I learned that for several ladies, their involvement in this industry is a means to an educational end; be that either PhD, undergraduate studies, or another post-secondary program. I came across something that I though may be useful to you ladies in such a position (in school) and I wanted to share it.

I recently learned that Amazon Prime has a student branch called 'Amazon Prime Student'. They say you can get the same services offered in the Prime membership, free for 6 months, and on the seventh month onwards the annual fee is almost half the regular price.

As several of you ladies here are working toward an educational goal, this may help you get to where they need to be financially by reducing your shipping and purchase costs for items you'd probably just buy from Amazon anyway. You can save some money and reach your financial independence/freedom sooner. :)

If you are out of school - I think you may be outta luck. Here are some details (ie. don't forget to read the fine print to see if it works for you):

Omg. I've ordered tonnes off amazon. In some cases the amount added up to maybe $5-10 dollars off what I would have paid at school.

This is actually so useful.
