...Bush & Clinton & Obama couldn't do squawk on North Korea!
...
Top White House official Steve Bannon said Wednesday that there is “no military solution” to North Korea.
“Forget it,” he told American Prospect magazine in an August 16 interview. “Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about, there’s no military solution here, they got us.”
...
For once I agree with TrumpAddict...

Unless China co-operates, there's only 2 paths: total war or acquiescence.

These new sanctions with more to come will likely cause some grief. The government could collapse or the young new dear leader without gifts for his supporters could be assassinated. Either way the pressure is ramping up in the palace.

Which implies China is co-operating, otherwise Trump has only one trump (?) card left short of going to war, and that would be
the threat of opening Pandora's box and letting Japan, S.Korea and Taiwan go nuclear. Unlikely for now but that might force the Chinese
to re-consider their strategy.

First he has to invade and occupy Venezuela. Get your facts straight.
They are destroying themselves without any external help.

Seems china is complying, for now at least. Don't think Trump is gong to let this issue slide as was done in the past. Japan also added its own sanctions.

All you need to know about China’s sanctions on North Korea
http://www.scmp.com/news/china/dipl...-need-know-about-chinas-sanctions-north-korea
The combined value of North Korea’s 2016 exports to China of coal, iron ore, lead ore and seafood – all of which are now banned by Beijing – was almost US$1.5 billion, or 60 per cent of its total exports.

If you think China is co-operating I have some beach front property in Yancheng to sell you.

And it's China, not Russia, that has pledged to defend NK if the Americans attack first.
Which once again proves China is responsible for NK pulling this stunt,...and in turn makes China look like the fool.

Not the president of the country you are now living in.

fuji was just wondering what you think is the proper response to this.
Good luck getting fuji to reply to a rational question, even if you ask nicely twice. He's too busy trying to drum up scenarios that make Trump look bad (in his mind)

What you have posted is false.

The North Korean ICMB that works, is courtesy of Americans friends in Ukraine.
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/14/world/asia/north-korea-missiles-ukraine-factory.html

As for Japan, S.Korea and Taiwan nuclear ambitions, they all may be shutting down all their nuclear power plants in the next 20 years. Where will they get the fissionable material to build a bomb? Maybe the Americas will sell that to them.

fuji is right.

I have no doubt that China bears a lot of responsibility for North Korea.

It's Trump, not China, whose bluff has been called.

Whenever China has a tough message for North Korea it's always delivered very sternly, with a wink, and a nudge

Fuji I guess you have not noticed my question so will ask it one more time. What do you think is the proper response to this.

It was the PLA that sent soldiers in to fight Americans last time around, not Russia. And it's China, not Russia, that has pledged to defend NK if the Americans attack first.
That's what I said "he who fucks", can you not read?

Stalin started the Korean War and Mao had no choice but to get involved. NK has been supported by the PRC ever since. And what do the Palestinians have to do with it?

Trump should send multiple carriers to the Korean peninsula and start evacuating American civilians and non military people from South Korea, and advise South Koreans to begin evacuating Seoul.

That will get China's attention and then China might actually do something about Kim.

China is totally responsible for this act of aggression by NK.

It's Trump, not China, whose bluff has been called.
Once again,...nobody's bluff was called,...but China was made to look like a fool,...who can't handle its little brat.

You're missing the bigger picture. China does not look like a fool. China looks like a mastermind plotting against the United States. This is not bad for China if the US caves in.

So what's going to be done about that?

Mattis directly contradicts Trump for the 2nd time this week and says that US should use diplomatic route dealing with NK.
