So where do you go for non-porn torrents.
I'm happy with puretna.com and empornium.us for the skin, but someone said there are other things in life, so I thought I'd check.

What do you use for music downloads?

Not full CDs but individual songs. I was using Shareaza but I'm finding it lacking.

Demonoid was great but think they were knocked offline.

I use newgroups and content there is being pruned down.

I use Limewire. Has everything I like, but my interests are mainstream.
Many thanks! :D

If the torrent is mp3 files, you should be able to select which files you want to download. (using utorrent)

After downloading American Gangster using Mininova which took a very long time, I was told I would need a password to get to this film. I also read that there's often quality problems with these downloads. If I really want to see one of these films, I can goto the video rental. For a few bucks I've got top quality and can copy the film on my vcr. I get tired of all these computer hassles.

http://www.torrentspy.com/ is a great alternative to isohunt and mininova.
There are almost always details of each file to be downloaded (even when unrar'd).
Also, if the file is password protected it is usually posted along with the torrent as well.

For movies, this is a site I've found where movies are validated so you don't have to worry about fakes, poor quality or viruses. They don't always have the newest releases but you can be sure about the ones they have. (or at least I've had no problems)

Excellent resource, thanks guys. I was using www.torrentspy.com for a long time. Something wrong with it or more likely me, cant seem to get downloads started.
After clicking on the torrent you like a second screen comes up.
Make sure you click on download torrent from cache and it will start for you.
I had the same problem when they made some changes to the site and finally decided to read what it was actually saying on that screen!
Works great again now except when I am in the USA where it doesn't work after it detects your location (seriously - God Bless Canada :) )
