Nolan skated this morning!
He skated this morning for about 15 minutes. I guess they did the tests and found there was no tear, he obviously wouldn't be skating if he did. (from Joe Bowen who was at the practice)
Just to add on... he skated without equipment, just in his training suit; and he was just doing cross-overs, to test his knee!!!

He still may need surgery to repair it, in which case he won't play until next season. We may find out within the next week.
And all along, we thought it would be his back! ;)

believe that he has yet to have the mri that will indicate if there is a tear or not. Tis a wait and see game at this point in time.

Varada had surgery and started skating about 3 weeks before he came back. Could still be sometime before you see Nolan in the line up and you have to consider the fact that Toronto could be out of the playoff picture before this time.

Nolan is said to have had an MRI Saturday and that is one issue to worry about. The second issue is NOT whether Toronto will be in the playoff picture or not, I think you should
be more worried about the Senaturds being down in the series 3-2 and not being able to win 2 straight!

As Don Cherry said Friday night, SERIES IS O-V-E-R !!!

I think they should pump Nolan full of pain killers and anaesthetics and let him play. It doesn't matter if he creates any more damage since next year is gonna be a washout with the lockout/strike anyway so he'll have lots of time to recover from his surgery (scheduled for the day after the Leafs hoist the Cup--We can dream can't we?).

And this is because why, exactly? Because we're speculating about when one of our better forwards might be back??

More senseless Toronto bashing.
