No Show at CMJ

So I make my appointment for 2:30 and show up at 2:27...knock on the door and nobody answers....I can hear the lobby doors being opened and closed on the inside....still no answer....so after 5 min of knocking and standing around looking like a fool.....I leave...

Will I repeat??? I don't think so...

I've really tried to embrace CMJ's concept and approach but I keep getting let down....

In the MANY years I have went to CMJ I have yet to have a no show or a bad experience

I had a related experience a while back. I was at the door, knocking, to no avail. I called them on my cell, and they answered immediately.
Since then, I ring the bell by the first door before going any further... as they suggested I do, since sometimes they can be further back, away from the door...
Try again, it is well worth it...

EXACTLY ...... you need to ring before you enter the building. Then they are waiting to let you in and you do not linger in hallway.

I learned that on my first visit. Ring the bell downstairs, wait until somebody says come on up, then go wait by the second door. Never a problem. My first visit for orientation was a problem because I was booked when I shouldn't have been, there problem not mine, but it was remedied immediately. Of course I am assuming you were at the main CMJ site. There is always more than one person there so the bell is always answered. If you heard them inside, then all you had to do was go and ring the bell.

Bell

I never knew of the bell/ringer outside the door. I have been there many times and stood in the hallway for many minutes before they came to open the door. The last time I was there I was ready to leave and then hammered on the door and the hostess finally came to let me in.

lol the bell downstairs has a sign on it that reads - "FOR CMJ RING BELL" above and below the the bell.

I will be putting a lable on the second door as well, reminding people to ring the bell - we definately do not want people standing around or being missed.

Im still waiting for pesterer to respond to my PM in regards to when his reservation was and with who, I hope he responds...
