You have to understand, these women are getting bombarded with messages and if you don't do something to stand out you have no chance of them responding to you. Sending "very nice messages" probably means you are writing things which are typical of what they're getting all the time.

I get that, but my point is this, these women are on there for so long, complaining about guys who play games, this that and the other thing, then if they are getting bombarded with messages from nice guys that aren't into games, what the fuck do they want???

I have to agree with the general sentiment of this thread, that site is just unbelievable, guys are complete morons who ask the most outlandish questions (so how big are your boobs? what's your favourite position) right off the bat because hiding behind a computer is easy for a coward, and women who are 40, alone, angry,barely with a high school degree and work in a convenience store, completely shabby looking and dont take care of themselves yet they expect George Cloone/Brad Pitt look alikes and with similar bank account sizes to message them. This is personally one of my favourite profiles, read it for high entertainment value and notice no pic, that speaks volumes.

your link doesn't bring us to a specific profile, but I totally agree. You know how many out of shape women I've seen on POF and on there profiles saying "I'm looking for a guy in good shape". One chick wasn't even out of shape, she was a huge BBW. Im thinking "are these chicks on fucking drugs?"

I honestly don't mind POF. I had been on there for about a year, sure, I met a few guys who were assholes, but I was only looking for FWB anyway. There were a couple guys I even ended up dating for a few months. Then, I met a guy on there, who actually took the time to stand out from the rest of the assholes, and within 5 months we had moved in together. It takes time and patience, but you can actually match up with some pretty awesome people.
