Nike to end some sales in Israeli stores
New measure to come into effect on 31 May 2022
Sure, you tell yourself that its because of sales.Sorry Franky

Nike isn’t boycotting Israel — despite reports to the contrary
Nike has not announced plans to shutter its Israeli website or the 15 Nike Stores in Israel.forward.com
Reality is Nike is internationally reducing sales through third party retailers in favour of their own stores. Instead of buying nikes through their equivalent of sportcheck, Israelis will be buying from nike.il.
Amazing that you can take a well document change in global policy and claim it is really about your Israel obsession. Just like with the ice cream, Israelis will still be able to buy Ben and Jerry's and will still be able to buy nikes.Sure, you tell yourself that its because of sales.
I'm sure that's what Botha told himself too.
Yes, amazing you think this and Ben and Jerry weren't part of a movement.Amazing that you can take a well document change in global policy and claim it is really about your Israel obsession. You don't like reality.Yes, amazing you think this and Ben and Jerry weren't part of a movement.
This is reality. You don't like reality.
Ben and Jerry is still selling in Israel. Nike is still selling in Israel. For that matter, you continue to support Israeli businesses and organizations. You're just as pathetic as the BDS leader who wants all Israeli academic institutions boycotted, ignoring the fact that his degrees are from an Israeli institution.
Right. You try to argue against facts with opinion polls. Ben and Jerry is still selling in Israel. Nike is still selling in Israel. This is reality.
...
Those polls?Right. You try to argue against facts with opinion polls. Ben and Jerry is still selling in Israel. Nike is still selling in Israel.
If you really want to base your argument on polls, 70% of Palestinians oppose peace talks, only 6% would choose a One State peace, 49% think violence is the best way forward, and 52% support "attacks on Israeli civilians inside Israel."
Ben and jerrys is not selling in occupied territories.Right. You try to argue against facts with opinion polls. Ben and Jerry is still selling in Israel. Nike is still selling in Israel.

Correct. They are selling in Israel though which means Israelis in the West Bank can still easily get it. As I said in the thread on the topic, it's just another PR move that will only have a negative impact on the Palestinians as they will no longer have access.Ben and jerrys is not selling in occupied territories.
So you have no comment on Palestinians overwhelmingly opposing peace talks and half of them thinking violence is a solution? Those polls?
...
What peace talks? So you have no comment on Palestinians overwhelmingly opposing peace talks and half of them thinking violence is a solution?
Doesn't Jarod Kushner count? Lame, certainly, but there was talk...What peace talks?
There haven't been peace talks in how many years?
5 years?
7 years?
Israel's PM is totally against a Palestinian state, why should they talk instead of going straight to the ICC?
No, that doesn't count because they never talked to Palestinians or announced what their plan really was.Doesn't Jarod Kushner count? Lame, certainly, but there was talk...
Nice excuse for 70% or Palestinians including Hamas rejecting the idea. Just another case where you think non-white people aren't accountable for their own choices. Just like when you refused to criticize Abbas for walking away from Olmert's offer. What peace talks?
...
1) Israel is the military occupying power so when the Israeli PM says a Palestinian state will never happen while he is in power, it doesn't matter what Palestinians think.Nice excuse for 70% or Palestinians including Hamas rejecting the idea.
