I have a few friends dropping in from out of town. Plan on going down to the area for a tour, including NOTL and The Falls. But which of all the vineyards, from Vineland-Jordan-NOTL, which is considered the nicest (facilities, restaurant and view).

Thanks!

I really love Inniskillin. If you can afford it, buy a bottle of their Cabernet Franc Ice Wine. The best in the world; much better than their white Vidal.

For food... I recommend Peller Estates.

For vineyard tour... Jackson Triggs or Chateau des Charmes

Pellar Estates, Vineland and Hilldebrand for the most beautiful Vineyards, facilities and excellent dining rooms.

For whites: Jackson Triggs- Reisling, Henry of Pelham Chardoney

For reds - unfortunately the great reds are the very expensive ones:
Pellar Estates - Reserve Cabarnet Sauivignin (Not The Cab Franc)
Chateau des Charmes - 2002 Equuleus, Paul Bosc Estate Vineyard $ 35.00 is beautiful, needs a couple more years

my Top Pick however is a relatively new comer:
http://www.stratuswines.com/
Stratus 2002 Red (rating 90/100)
on the main road into NOTL, beautiful spot, top award winning reds, tasting room has some of th emost knowledgable people in the region.

Have fun, the experimenting (like hobbying) is the most fun.

For a nice vineyard with a nice dining room try Strewns. The wine is actually very good as well. Nice tasting facility and good staff.
My favourite winery is Marynissen. Very small....so small they don't sell on the LCBO. However, great wine very suitable for putting down for a year or three.
