Open.... I'm Tellin Ya
This thread is kind of funny, actually. The banter back and forth whether it is open or not, even though some members have stated they have been in, some saying they have driven by, and seen the OPEN sign in the window.
For now, I am saying that the place is still open (thankfully). I have been there 5 separate occasions, with NO hint of trouble, or impression they were closed. It is actually a nice place inside, but I wish it were in a different location all together.
For one, I know LE would prefer to have them further down the lane (not that any OTHER business is a Tourist Attraction on Main St.), but it tends to be a relatively high traffic area. Obviously a business has a greater chance of attracting customers if they are in a high traffic area, but there are other ways to advertise, than an "OPEN" sign in a window. The internet is a GREAT tool to advertise. Not one of you HERE is 'Internet Deficient'. They should pay for some good legitimate advertising, and move the business to an end of town that LE will less likely put undue pressure on the business. I am sure that customers would visit more often if they were more comfortable with LE's position. It hasn't STOPPED me, but I DO think about the posibilities. I have read as well that other possible patrons had been turned away because of LE intrest in the area. Sometimes it is easier (and as a result, more profitable) to move and stay under the radar, then to keep fighting out of principle or stubbornness. Don't believe me?? Go to one of the strip clubs down the Lane, and JUST get a table dance. Try, I dare ya....
Seems they don't have a problem staying open....
Cheers,
Fresh
