Rediculous comment.Wouldn't it be neat if Vancouver and Montreal met in the finals? Won't happen because the fix is in. The NHL wants 2 U.S. teams in the finals for the American TV audience.
Just watch and see. If Vancouver and Montreal are in the finals, I will edit my post.Rediculous comment.
That's not completely accurate. Gary Bettman was instrumental in establishing the revenue sharing plan (Canadian Assistance Plan) the N.H.L. ran through the late 1990's and early 2000's.Ok, let's face the facts. The Commissioner (look what he did to that RIM guy) is anti-Canadian....
Vancouver is sure going to throw a wrench into that plan aren't they.Ok, let's face the facts. The Commissioner (look what he did to that RIM guy) is anti-Canadian and that attitude goes down the rank from there. He and his peons want TWO American teams (hopefully big market like Philadephia) in the finals and that is exactly what will happen. Watch the officiating very carefully. (Did you notice how the officials got New Orleans into the Super Bowl? It can be done.)
It would be more of a fix if Vancouver and Montreal should meet in the final. Vancouver has a 25% chance while Montreal has .01% (only because "you never say never").Just watch and see. If Vancouver and Montreal are in the finals, I will edit my post.

Maybe because there are only 6 Canadian teams, just off the top of my head. Here is an idea. Why not split the NHL into the Canadian League and the American League? The winner in each league will play each other in the "World Series (of hockey)".
