NHL Next Year?

I haven't really missed it at all this year, and the World Cup (?) coming up will provide me with all the hockey fix I need to last me until the World Juniors next Christmas.
I'd prefer a full season starting in the fall of 2006, but I think a half-season in early 2006 is more likely.

Not that I care much either anymore but I predict that the players will cave before they sit out an entire 2nd season. That's assuming, 1)the owners hang tough and 2) the owners aren't screwed by the courts.
Therefore I voted for an agreement part way through next season. Then Goodenow's toast.

No doubt there will be a full season of hockey played under the NHL logo. It'll be up to the NHLPA whether the players are replacements or not. The owners and Bettman have been far from coy on whether replacements would be used.
All things considered, I would think fans would slowly come back with replacements. Like the Seinfeld bit goes, you really are just rooting for uniforms anyways.

Scarly thing for the owners and players is that most people I've talked to don't really miss it.
