Firework accident that killed NHL goaltender Matiss Kivlenieks was at coach's house, team says

Matiss Kivlenieks, a goaltender for the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League, died Sunday night after a fireworks accident at the home of the team's goaltending coach, a spokesperson for the organization said Tuesday.

With a group in a hot tub, a 'mortar-style' fireworks launcher was apparently 'mis-angled'.
Everyone scrambled out of the hot tub, he fell, hit his head on cement.
Ambulance was there in fewer than 5 minutes, to hospital, no good.

Update: An autopsy shows cause of death to be blunt force trauma to the chest from being struck by the firework rather than the head injury.
