Cousins TD totals for the last 3 years : 18, 18 and 10. His stats are nearly identical to Penix in 2025. Did you think he was magically going to get the same stats he did several years ago in Minny ?
No. But a the start of the season he was still the better QB. Did you watch any Falcons games? I admit Cousins is definitely past his prime and his 2024 stats were subpar. I like Penix Jr. and I think he can be a good QB in the NFL but he wasn't ready at the beginning of the season.

Dude he had a very good QB in Ben Roethlisberger for most of his coaching career 2007-2021 seasons. Yes I would say that since Ben retired its been rough with guys like Kenny Pickett, Mitchell Trubisky, Mason Rudolph, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields all taking turns at the helm. Luckily they have had the beneficiary of weak sisters (Browns and Bengals) in their division.
You cannot be serious. The Bengals with Joe Burrow, the best QB in the division, and JaMarr Chase and Tee Higgins, the best WR tandem in the division, is a weak sister?? What is weak is your knowledge of football lol

4 Home Dogs - Wow!

* Rams (-10.5) over Panthers. Rams should win by 20.
* Bears (+1.5) win at home. Should be cold and windy. Losing Parsons was a big deal.
* Eagles (-5.5) over 49'ers. Tough place to play for an injured 49'er squad.
* Chargers (+3.5) over Pats. Pats have struggled against good teams.
* Texans (-3) over Steelers. Hard fought game against the Ravens has drained the tank. Texas D is even stronger.
* Bills (-1.5) over Jags. Hard to call. Leaning towards Josh Allen's play-making and experience.

Looking forward to some play-off football!

Did you miss reading my words have had i.e. in past tense. The Bengals from 2007-2021 were a below .500 team. The Browns....well they have been mostly crap since 2007 to present.

Indiana is putting a beat down on Oregon so far. I expected them to win just not in a blowout.
56: 15 IU, 2 minutes warning.
LOL, Mendoza has 5 TDs and 3 incompletions (17/20). and Oregon has more yards and more first downs, more passing yards.

this cignetti guy must be a mad scientist, who turned IU into Alabama north,
probably the most incredible story in all of the sports in the last 20 years..
granted this is NIL era, a leveled field (Phil Knight paying Oregon, mark Cuban paying IU), but still this is the best coaching job I can remember.

Wildcard round picks (s/u)

AFC
Patriots over Chargers (2nd highest confidence rating)
Jaguars over Bills (Jags have won 8 in a row. Bills have been inconsistent and don't play well in J'ville)
Texans over Steelers (Texans have won 9 in a row but this is going to be a battle in the trenches)

NFC
Eagles over 49'ers (could go either way but deferring to home team)
Packers over Bears (Bears fans gonna be disappointed yet again)
Rams over Panthers (highest confidence rating)
I'm going to change one of my picks. I think the Bills will somehow magically sneak out a win in Jax. Going with the experience factor as the main differentiator.

I don't think Oregon came with their best effort. In fact they didn't really look overly impressive in their bowl match with JMU. They did shutdown TT however.
I'm not sure Miami stands much of a chance against Indiana. This is a true juggernaut.

Not a fan of his at all but I gotta admit I'm a bit impressed with how well Bryce Young played in his very 1st playoff game. He gave his team a chance. Carolina's defense really shut down the Rams near the end of the 1st half through the 3rd quarter. But Rams offense finally adjusted in the 4th and they started running the ball more and it freed up the passing game again.

Anything's possible!
Yes indeed!!
I made a mistake not betting on all of team in the playoffs on that parlay. That 2 Nba win is 57x alone any combination of team is a minimum 200x had I risk bigger money that night. haha

I could have bet any super bowl winner plus that 2 way NBA win. $100 each! $1,400 capital minimum win is $20k regardless of who win the super bowl

I have LA CHARGERS winning it all!!
As a lifelong Charger fan nothing would please me more but...

Their O line has seen 32 different combinations this year...Most in the NFL...It's been God awful all year.

Their #1 RB is questionable and the backup is just coming off an injury.

Add to that Herbert has been injured all year with a ankle problem and then the broken hand.

Chargers D is solid but they need the O to have some long sustained drives to give them a break.

They do have arguably the top placekicker in the game if it comes down to it though.

NE didn't play the toughest schedule though so maybe just maybe they are overrated here.

Go Chargers!

Watch the coaches if you are betting man.
Sean McVay has elevated the play of QB Matthew Stafford to MVP status and is the main reason for the LA Rams defeating the Panthers.
Ben Johnson left the Detroit Lions and the play of QB Jared Goff declined. Meanwhile, he has elevated QB Caleb Williams at Chicago to elite status and is the main reason for the Bears victory.

Owners looking to fill coaching vacancies also ought to pay attention to outstanding offensive coordinators.

Yes, the Bears won. But GB kicker McManus missed 2 makeable field goals and an extra point conversion. 7 points thrown away right there.
One of them was a 55 yarder that's not an automatic. But for sure missing the XP and the 44 yarder pretty badly cost the Packers the game.

The wind was not blowing. So a 55-yarder should have been automatic for a kicker worth his pay

'

''The percentage of 50-yard plus field goals completed in the 2025 NFL season was approximately 66.7%.
This percentage is based on 100 successful field goals out of 150 attempts from 50 yards or further during the 2025 regular season. This rate is slightly lower than the 69.9% recorded in the 2024 season. Individual kicker performances varied, with some players like Chase McLaughlin achieving over 90% accuracy from that range. ''
