39 thousand plus change, looks like Toronto sports fans are not as stupid as they seem (Leaf fans being the exception) A ticket that costs about $85 at Rich Stadium, at the Rogers Centre goes for $275, yeaahhh ok Rogers, where do I give you my credit card number ;)

Toronto should get a NFL team, then you could host a superbowl.

That video changed my mind on having an NFL team in Toronto. I gotta vote yes on NFL in Toronto now.

I love that she's wearing a Manning Jersey and dancing & cheering for the "let's go buffalo" song.
that video should be sent around to all the NFL owners if Toronto EVER comes up in a potential vote as a possible expansion or relocation site, it truly proves the intelligence of the average TO sports fan :D

and having said that, it will NEVER happen, the list of cities in the US that want NFL teams is a mile long , stadium issues and the general costs of an NFL expansion team here (I have heard team plus stadium cost easily run into the hundreds of millions pushing close to a billion dollars), who has that kind of money? And please dont say MLSE or Rogers, we have seen how awesome they have been in owning their teams.

Much more fun to tailgate and watch an nfl game in an american city. No tailgating in toronto unless it's provided by the team (great... $10 beers and 8 dollar hot dogs!!). There's no atmosphere in toronto , fans in other cities go crazy at games for their teams, it's like pulling teeth for a toronto crowd to make noise.

I'm pretty sure Rogers Centre couldnt be used as a permanent home for an NFL team, so a conservative price for a new stadium plus the expansion fee would be $1.4-1.6 billion. And thats on the low end. Combine that with the fact that the NFL doesn't allow corporations to be the majority owner of a team, what person is dumb enough in Toronto to put that much of their own money into this. The NFL is many years away from coming to Canada.

The only reason I went is because of the free tickets. And even then, I left at half time to get to the LCBO before it closed. Damned if I was paying $10 for a watered down beer.

I would love to see an NFL team in Toronto, but I just don't see it happening.

The Bill in Toronto made me excited, but the moment they announced the ticket prices, I was disgusted.
Earlier this year, I went to see Boston v Orlando in game 5 or 6 of the playoffs. I got tickets about 6 rows from court side
and the price was under $250/ticket. Why the hell would I pay the same type of price to see a Buffalo Bills game.

I think that the Bills in Toronto killed my hope for an NFL team in Toronto.

I will never support a team in Toronto unless I have the same or better experience as going to a game in the US. NO Tailgating = crappy experience. The NFL is more than kick-off to final. It's the hoopla, the hype, the pre-game anticipation. True NFL fans that have experienced games in other cities will not support a watered down "Canadianized" version. At least I know I won't! Especially if ROGERS is involved in any capacity!
