Super Bowl does a suck job yet again, Rihanna for the Half Time Show.

American Football is a gladiator sport, it needs a gladiator band.

He slammed his head and claimed it was his back. Not persuasive.
Have you ever hurt your back? Obviously not.
He claims his back was hyperextended during a previous play in a pile up.
We aren't him or his doctors.
He was also cleared of a concussion when taken to the dressing room after he was walked off the field.
Yes, the optics don't look like a back injury but I have thrown out my back before and standing up can be very difficult sometimes.

Edit.
Ian Rapoport is a pretty good NFL reporter.

You are going to say what happened to Tua on Sunday had no bearing on what happened to him yesterday?

I think you are suffering from "Stick your head in the sand syndrome."

Neurologist Dr. Nowinski called the new injury a “disaster” and shared a message he’d posted before the game warning about the potential consequences if Tagovailoa was injured again.

I really don't care what you think.
I doubt you are a neurologist or have any medical background what so ever.
When you understand concussion protocol rules in the NFL and watch the video of last nights game and the previous game, then you can get back to me.
Otherwise, go away.

American football is a gladiator sport, it can never be made safe.

My neighbour is a neurologist with more than 4 decades of experience. He said that his peers who are coming out with claims that Tua suffered a concussion can't be taken seriously.

In order to make an accurate diagnosis, it's apparently critical that the person be examined in person. He's attended to many athletes involved in injuries where due to the impact everyone assumed the athlete suffered a concussion, only for him to rule it out upon examination. The key takeaway is that any person suffering a possible head injury should seek immediate medical attention.

My neighbour is confident that there is no chance Tua suffered a concussion the first time. If he did, it is highly unlikely for 2 medical independent professionals to clear him let alone one!

Those 2 medical medical professionals would be subject to criminal charges, likely stripped of their license for a substantial amount of time, and have to pay insurance premiums that are quite unreasonable.

It's just common sense.

"Tagovailoa climbed to his feet like a punch-drunk boxer. He shook his head, apparently trying to clear the cobwebs. His legs buckled, causing him to drop briefly to his knees, before he was helped to the sideline." That was on Sunday. And he had clearly suffered brain trauma but he lied it was his back, was cleared and was back at it in the second half. He shouldnt have played in the second half and he definitely should not have played again just 4 days later. That is common sense. But it is not so common. Now, its unlikely he will return this season and may never play again.

Curious what his opinion on Kawhi Leonard would be? He was cleared by several medical professionals to play only for them to be completely wrong.

This just in to be passed on to the neighbour neurologist and "head in the sand" common sense observer:

"The neurotrauma consultant involved in clearing Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa during last Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills has been fired. Multiple sources said the firing came after it was found the consultant made "several mistakes" in his evaluation."

Can you let me know your neighbour's name so I can make sure I never see him in my life. 🤣

He only further highlights how far down the health care in Canada has gone.

Hopefully, they disclose what these 'mistakes' were.

There are 2 independent doctors here! It's more likely that they did collude to get Tua back in the game.

If that's the case, they should be criminally charged, have their license suspended, and they will be f*cked for life when it comes to insurance premiums.

My neighbour is a reputable neurologist. He's a very dedicated guy who works long hours and also instructs. His point was that you can't tell if someone has had a concussion until they are examined. All the media acted as if it were a foregone conclusion.

They're not just setting their sights on the playoffs. They want the 1972 Dolphins record! 😆
Prediction: That dream will end at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, NY, if not sooner...

I can't believe the Ravens went for it on 4th and goal instead of kicking the field goal. Perhaps if they had hemmed in the Bills on the one yard line it may have worked out, but Jackson threw an interception and Buffalo promptly marched down the field and kicked game winning FG as time expired
