So the only good thing I've learned since stopping my hobbying under the current circumstances, is that Quarter Pounders With Cheese are so much better when bought in the drive-through as opposed to being ordered inside a McDonald's. So much fresher and juicier.

I think it's because they serve them to you at the drive-through pickup window just as soon as they're made, as opposed to letting them sit in the heating area for 10+ minutes drying out while the staff assembles all the huge Uber Eats and Skip-the-Dishes orders that are a priority...

Mcdonald's burgers just isn't the same since they stopped having someone actually cooking them on a grill, the burgers were juicier back then.

At least 6 visits, but only to 2 locations that I regularly frequent. I only started using the drive-through when they closed the inside restaurants.

Will probably keep using the drive-through even when they open back up completely, as there is no comparison...

As to the comment about "fresher" in drivethru it is obv nonsense
In store 5 people order and whoevers shit (and yes that is correct term for McD) is completed 1st is served 1st via a flashing number on screen
Even if you were 3rd or 4th in line

In a drivethru if car in front of you is a moron (cant use credit card, cant find change, changes order etc) it delays EVERYONE else in the line behind you
Many McD even have a dual drivethru system so even if you order 1st if you make any custom changes you never get your order 1st

And even if you managed to get a "fresher" food sample by some miracle, it wont be fresher by time you eat it
Eating in your car is disgusting in general but its now a distracted driving ticket as well should a cop see you so no


But yeah McD is horrible in general....

I would also be wary of the drive thrus because of the speakers. Unless everyone is wearing a mask when they order and staff are cleaning it regularly which is unlikely.
