Hi im relativly new to hobbying and wanted some prespective on providers and hygene.

I get nervous about catching and sti/std that being said it not enough to stop me, ive seen maybe 4 providers and i tend to go with more expensive upscale for the fact i believe there is less of a chance of getting a sti/std, would you agree or disagree and why ?


Have you ever got one from a provider ? If so please leave the name out, the intent is to not bash any providers.

you have to decide who you want to see in terms of
high vs low volume providers
just started to several years in the biz
provide only safe services or low restrictions

the choice is yours to make, we aint gonna make if for you mon frere

expensive and upscale isn't a factor imo, I don't see them and never caught anything

Let me help here..

Upscale or not makes no difference. Skin colour makes no difference.
What makes a difference is playing safe & keep up with regular std testing.

If you wish to remain clean , be safe & get tested regularly.

It is not just up to the providers to get tested. It is also your responsibility as a client.

I get tested regularly and expect the same from my clients

P.S , I also post my results on my twitter page. Same for my Covid tests .. I feel it should become a trend to post our results so more people are tempted to get tested as well.

Unfortunately the Hassle Free Clinics in Toronto are closed for routine tests during the covid lockdown. They’re only doing appointments if you’re symptomatic. I was considering diving back in now that I’ve got my first vaccine dose, but I’m going to be responsible and wait until it’s easy to get free testing once again.

You have pretty bad luck since Chlamydia is not easily transmitted from mouth to penis. See Hunter Handsfield (senior US STD researcher):

Questions like this scare me. If you don't understand STI's or how many strains there are, what are your actions to help stop the spread ?
Chlamydia is real, you'll experience painful (burning) urination, it's cured with antibiotics and you'll need to abstain from hobbying until your doctor gives you a clean bill of health. Nice question though.

lol kind of interesting for you to frame it as guilt, along with the apparent assumptions that health-safe cheating = no guilt but health-risky cheating = guilt.

I think it's less about guilt than about another vector for people to get themselves caught by their SO.

So since Hassel Free is by appointment only, what happens if going to family doc and tested positive? Would family be notified?
I usually go test once a year around holidays and didn’t do it last year since I didn’t have any fun the whole year . Thinking about testing this year but don’t want any trouble after. Any suggestions?

If you want to get tested for stds go to your family doctor directly. Your doctor will send you to one of the labs to get your blood and urine tested and it will be more comprehensive than the Hassle Free clinic tests.

I don’t think you can test for HSV type one or two unless you’re having a breakout

Yeah, over 90% of the human population has some form of herpes, so that would count as too common. Even chicken pox is a form of herpes.

Herpes was a media-created panic, no one should worry all that much about it, if most people already have it.

I read somewhere that it would be shared but want to see if anyone experienced that.

He asked if his partner would be notified. That is possible. The results are reported to public health who do the contact tracing. They would tell the partner that they have been potentially exposed, they don’t say who the contact is, but in a monogamous relationship, it’s pretty obvious.

Then they would want to reach out to the partner to make sure they get treated, and don’t give it to someone else.
I’m not sure how much effort and detective workpublic health is putting into this these days, but they can do contract tracing for reportable diseases, and all STIs are reportable. So if the question is, can they notify my partner, the answer is a simple yes.
