Red House over yonder.
Half the time I can't read the letters. It sometimes requires a few attempts to find a sequence that is not so distorted. Also, it works with my other computers but not my smart phone. Any suggestions?

Trying clearing your browser and rebooting your phone, beyond that Safari seems to work better than other browsers.

ps: No matter what device I use ( even cybercafe computers ) I get in with no problems at all, I don't even get the CAPTCHA screen, nothing.

Well, that's one of you.....I get it every time and even in mid session if I've stepped away for a few minutes.

It works better with Mozilla Firefox as a browser in my cell phone but like LLL I must keep logging on. This is inconvenient to say the least.

Despite doing cartwheels and standing on my head, there is NO way I can log on here from home via my internet and wifi. It's become kinda ridiculous in the past week even trying, and more so for admins to claim there are no problems, things are business as usual. Fucking ridiculous. Hope the problems are fixed. To claim there is no problem is a crock

Last week you could not log in ? The firewall was only installed 4 days ago - before that the server was down for 2days maybe that's why you couldn't get in ?

From your ISP you shouldn't even be getting any issues at all.
By and large the firewall is doing the job it was intended to do and it is here to stay.

We will look at the individual cases that are experiencing problems and try get those addressed.

That would suggest a direct IP issue with your home internet I assume. I would try to recycle a new IP from your modem { you can Google how to do it based on your model} or submit the IP addy to the mods privately and see what can be directly.

He said wifi is shut off. That leaves him using his wireless providers signal. Home Internet is taken out of the equation.

I get that 5 second Cloudflare window that pops up before I can get onto the forum. Other then that no issues.

Its a minor inconvenience

Exactly. So on his cell phone he is using his data plan and that is how he is able to access TERB now and make these posts. If he were to use his wifi on his phone at home, he would have a problem. Using his computer at home would be a problem which as I understand his what he is experiencing. Therefore the problem is the IP address of his home internet and that is what needs to be addressed. If he can reset his modem to give him a new IP, that may correct the issue. If not, TERB may have to assist him in gaining access another way.

Or am I mistaken?

I downloaded Mozilla Firefox for Android on my cell phone. I added some of the add ons that delete and block cookies and tracking and now everything works fine. After I enter my TERB password my screen flashes "Trackers and cookies from Google self-destruct". You probably need to do the anti tracking and anti cookies Firefox add ons to make this work. I think the problem is with Internet Explorer and Google wanting to record and track everything that happens on the planet. This is the Prez way of poking Big Brother in the eye.

I also notice that the TERB site seems to have made the CAPTCHA easier to read. Everything seems to be working fine now. I am thinking of at least buying Norton for mobile devices to see if I can give my Internet Explorer on the phone a bath and fumigation. But I think for now using Firefox with cookies blocking and anti-tracking add ons in place works for TERB. If someone with more IT background can explain why this works I am all ears.

That's funny. The only browser that logs me in to Terb is Google Chrome. Firefox and Dolphin fail. On my PC, I can only use Chrome to log in. All other browsers fail.

Does this mean the CAPTCHA screen is still an issue for you?

It would be great if we could get an official response on this from Fred or a Mod. I've been clearing cookies & cache, trying different browsers to no avail. It's getting old.
