Who am I?

I averaged 33.1 points per game in 77 NCAA Division I games, and I was a three-time All American.

I held the NBA record for highest free throw percentage in a season, (95.8%; 206/ 215) until this record was broken by Jose Calderon of the Toronto Raptors.

I am the shortest NBA player in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

I hold the unofficial NBA record for most children - I fathered 14, with 9 different women. Quite a few of them are in the picture below.

Mike Bossy.
That was who immediately came to mind for me. He only played 9 seasons I believe and each one of them was over a point per game.

Not a trivia question, just an observation...

Sidney Crosby has averaged more than a point per game in every one of his NHL seasons. The list of players who have done that is likely very short. Even superstars usually don't do this in their first or last seasons.

If you can name any other players who have done this, please quote the post, and provide a link to their career stats page. I would exclude active players who aren't age 35 or more.

btw: Neither Wayne Gretzky nor Mario Lemieux pulled this off.
Mike Bossy came to mind immediately. Peter Stastny did it for every year he was a Quebec Nordique (1981-1990). Other than that I can't think of anyone since most of these elite players hang around into their late 30's and become more leadership/role players than anything.
Right now Connor McDavid has 10 straight seasons of over a point per game.

Peter Stastny career stats

Technically, your statement isn't correct. In the 1989-90 season, Stastny had 62 points in 62 games for the Nordiques and 11 points in 12 games for the New Jersey Devils, so he didn't average more than a point per game in that last Nordiques season.

Ok fair enough he was a point per game in his last season there.

Our minds worked alike on this one. Bossy was the first name to pop in my head because I remember he had a shorter career than most superstars due to a bad back.

What NFL players received an honorary Super Bowl ring even though they were not a member of the team that won the championship? (I found 3, don't know if there are more)

Players have received honorary rings I'm assuming those don't count right?

After researching the topic further, I found 2 more players that received honorary rings, so 3 in total. (Don't know if there are more)
I will amend my question
