A couple of interesting items drom Sportsnet:
--The Miami Marlins become the first team in MLB history to go 0 and 7 at the beginning of a new season after making the playoffs the previous year.
--The Blue Jays become the first team in MLB since 1901 to be no-hit and one-hit in the first 7 games of a new season.
--Raptors loss to Minnesota by 48 points Wednesday night is the largest margin of defeat in team history.

2 )Barry Bonds-- 1992 Pittsburgh Pirates 1993 San Fransisco Giants.

they both won league MVP with two different franchises, Malone w/ Rockets and 76ers, Messier with Oilers and Rangers.

but again Gretzky has done so w/ Oilers and Kings, and Peyton Manning too with Colts and Denver so maybe it is not that unique.
