a quick read suggests it isn't upgradeable. leaving aside the price, i can see lots of apple users loving this new machine. What a beast.
My only concern is out of the box upgradability.
Very true for 99% of us, that's why it's a bit surprising they released a product with so much obvious effort behind this - and made in the US, which won't make it cheaper.....More power than I will ever need, so no biggie.
There is a 1% that needs this and will be willing to pay.Very true for 99% of us, that's why it's a bit surprising they released a product with so much obvious effort behind this
Sometimes, being the cheapest should not be the end goal.and made in the US, which won't make it cheaper.....
Again in fact it looks like Apple is stealing this New Mac Pro model from Fleshlight....FFS!!!....Let's see how "others" are going to copy this one!
This is now Apple's Signature.
This is as revolutionary as their past ..... MacBook Wheel.....It's so... so... revolutionary Cause it's round.
10" high and 6" in diameter ... it certainly isn't a biggie. A little out of my league but I know a lot of graphic designers who would drool over these specs.More power than I will ever need, so no biggie.
That appears to be the niche Apple is going for......:eyebrows:A little out of my league but I know a lot of graphic designers who would drool over these specs.
I guess you haven't been following the threads (or ignoring them) but Apple has copied just about every idea claimed as their own - from Lisa/ Macintosh GUI interface (Zerox) to their iPhone (LG Pravda).Let's see how "others" are going to copy this one!

I know how hard this is for Apple fans but those of us that have technology backgrounds and have been around for a while know what a crock of do-do the Apple myth really is.
