The northeast corner of Yonge Street and Carlton Street is slated for major redevelopment, as property owner Northam Realty is looking to rezone the Downtown Toronto site to allow two 72-storey twin towers.

I'm starting an agency called 72 Virgins based out of these towers. :angel:

I really enjoy how in their rendering they've completely removed the Oddfellows hall, etc. That, plus the very few people shown on the street, gives a really accurate sense of what that intersection will actually look like. There's tumbleweeds blowing through there most days now as it is.

You know what else is great? If you're in a south-facing unit in the north tower, you won't be able to see the lake because the south tower will be in the way. Excellent!

Thank God that a forward thinking developer had such a brilliant idea. These two giant condo towers will complement the two giant condo towers being built across the street, and the massive condo developments planned for the two blocks to the north (although judging from the picture, the plan is not only to build the two towers, but to obliterate all surrounding buildings).
