Well, Velvets, let me rephrase. Let's say the province can set aside Municipal legislation if it wants. And of course all municipalities must follow provincial law (as I stated in my original post, #25, above). And Wigglee, yes, the idea of Toronto separating has been floated many times. But don't hold your breath, on that one! I have a better idea for all Toronto separatists: force Chow and her gang to get costs under control, to get the roads fixed, etc, etc. and make Toronto a great place to live. If the outflow of population from the city could be halted or reversed, then Toronto could outvote the little shitholes in the rest of the province in provincial elections. That would be my point of view.
