I started watching from the second period and the Leafs looked dominant. As expected Marner and Nylander swapped lines and both Matthews and Tavares scored.

CBJ will respond, likely throw a few more hits and forecheck harder to force mistakes on the Leafs’ defence. Muzzin is the Leafs’ best defender in their zone. I cringe when I picture a scenario where the Leafs are trying to protect a lead late in the game with Ceci, Barrie, Holl or Marincin on the ice. Rielly and Dermott are a little better but Andersen will have to stand on his head to bail out this defence.
Dermott has the least ice time of the 6 defensemen in the first 2 games at about 15 min per game. Ceci is next lowest and he's close to 18 min per. Dermott is moving up from 3rd pairing to play with Holl though so his ice time will shoot up. Barrie will take PP time and Marincin will take PK time as 3rd pairing. Holl is second in most ice time of the 6.

they definitely could have used Muzzin in this one. After the goalie pull there was no more urgency or push.

The Blue Jackets got rid of the right player, I don't see the Leafs progressing - hopefully I'm proven wrong.

F.A had a poor day! The Leafs ought to figure out the defense system like the Raptors has cause it was the same problem over and over again...Blow out another big lead. It's so difficult to watch...

It's not done yet.

Go Leafs Go!

So much talent and they could not score in the 2nd half of the game. :(
Every team in the league has talent. Look around. I'm sure Boston's super line don't score every period they play.

Marner did look good though.
Give Torts some credit. He got Dubois going. He was fantastic.
It was a game of momentum. CBJ got it after they scored their first goal.
Leafs looked slow. Nothing like the 2nd game when they were flying.

Bottom line Andersen didn’t make those saves needed for a win. Under pressure this defence will give up dangerous chances and Andersen can’t be “just ok“ for the Leafs to win.

Even more so with Muzzin out.

Not so sure if I should congratulate Habs fans for winning a round. They just lost out on a good shot at Lafrenièr. The Leafs even with a potent offence are on the same boat. With a soft and weak defence, I’ll be very surprised if they’d go a long way in these playoffs.

Andersen playing back to back after playing almost 4 periods yesterday. He may let in 3 early get pulled and Leafs mount the comeback.

Watching the Blue Jackets commentating team and they are aghast here with the result, lol.

Great come back....Gotta be the biggest in team playoff history I would think.

It was 3-0 late in the 3rd then I went to the bathroom to take a shit cause the Leafs were just that and then boom 3 straight goals.

History shows whichever team gets a 3 goal lead in the 5th and deciding game will lose.
