Network Anti Virus software for NT4?

We have had a worm attack and our consultant says there is no server based AV software for our ancient (circa 2000) NT4 server. So, I am looking at installing Norton AV on each individual station.

Is the consultant right? I would have thought there is some product that will do this.

My need is immediate. Otherwise, I would be replacing it with a 2003 server setup. But I cannot deploy that in the time frame I have.

Any thoughts?

Here is a list of anti-virus tools with the OS supported http://lists.thedatalist.com/pages/AntiVirus_Tools.php
Some of them don't mention NT when you check them out but I am too lazy to do a through search of their websites.

AVG has a decent reputation in the AV market. No experience with the product except the free home version.

Well, I downloaded a 10 user pack of Norton AV 2008 for starters and have installed 7 of them so far.

Would the corporate edition have allowed some form of server deployment on an NT4 server? I ended up logging on to each machine as administrator and doing the 56M download. And I have more to do at a distant remote site

Also, 2 of them had to be redone (stupid reasons). I am nervous that Norton will count those 2, making 9 installs. I guess i will find out soon unless any of you know how to inform Norton that two were aborted.
