A question for the travelling terbites...

Which resorts in Negril would you recommend if you are looking for something a little less raunchy than Hedonism? I'm not looking for a resort with prudes, but something exciting enough for me and the missus. And is Hedonism as raunchy as its reputation implies, or can an adult couple go and have fun, without partaking in its various group activities?

If you go to Hedo you don't have to indulge, you can just be a voyeur. don"t go to anything on the "west side" of Negril because its darker and has cliffs instead of beaches. Stay on the "strip' preferably the side with the beach.

Hey Amber, I know part of the answer. But based on some reviews out there (Tripadvisor), the quality of Hedo seems to have gone downhill. Are there any other resorts in Jamaica (Negril or otherwise) that are nearly as raunchy as Hedo?

Facilities and food suck better than the guests at Hedo. Don't waste your money. Try Sandals or Couples, although I don't think they are good for swinging.

Couples and Sandals are both great facilities, but don't expect anything raunchy. The beach there is spectacular.

I echo the other posters regarding Hedo going downhill over the years.
However, there is only one Hedo...so if that is what you are looking for, go and have fun there.
The resort is older, but it is the guests and the overall party atmosphere that you are there for.
You will not find that environment anywhere else.

If you are looking for a nice resort, and the raunchy stuff is 2ndary or not that important, Sandals and Couples will offer a nicer resort with classier setting.
