Ok, so Im not with bell or Rogers only because they keep ripping me off every month and they are way to expensive also i dont watch that much tv, however, I do like my certain shows and channels. Tlc, Slice, ect. Im a big classic tv buff and I prefer tv shows to movies. So, besides Netflix does anyone have any suggestionsas to a good site to watch tv shows or another cable provider besides those to rip off artists. I would really appreciate any feed back. I was on the net all night and found goofy sites that are bullshit, I love Net flix but not much to offer in the tv show department.. HELP Im jonesing for my tv shows. Perhaps the best place to get TV shows (particularly current ones) is usenet. However this is not something that the non tech savvy person can navigate with ease. It takes some computer to skills. It also requires a subscription to a news server (I pay $15US a month).

There are a lot of TV shows available to be watched on the web. Slice and showcase, for example, can be watched on the web. I have a "boxee box" and it comes with a nice little remote control and an interface that lets you browse through what's available pretty conveniently. It works about 90% of the time. Every now and then it's a little frustrating, but it's far less frustrating that browsing stuff without it. Their web based players force you to watch advertising throughout the show just like on a live broadcast which is how this is profitable for them.

Anyway, you could cancel your cable TV connection and just use that if it has enough of what you're looking for.
