Put $1k in your wallet and $1k in your money belt. In case you got robbed by your taxi in Las Vegas, you will still have half your money in your money belt.
You would probably want to stay in a hotel with an in-room safe, so you don't have to bring all your money with you when you are partying and getting drunk.
You might want to consider using your credit card for foods and other miscellaneous purchases. That way, you will have enough cash for games and for seeing a casino girl if desired.
Do not use your credit card to withdraw money. It cost around $10 to withdraw $100. Total ripoff.
