It seems to me that it is often these hard-driving, financially successful, alpha-male kinda guys who rise to positions of power in organizations who treat women the same way they treat everybody else except in this instance it turns out to be illegal. The same sociopathic behaviour that led to their career success is what also gets them into trouble.
