I'm getting ready to watch a double header on the SCORE tonight and must say I am happier than a pig in sh**.

Go Raptors.

Any diehard ballers out there? Here's my prediction for Toronto in the next week or so. Vince Carter to Minnesota for Latrell Spreewell.

I hate to say it cuz I love this team how it is, but I've got one of those feelings.

The Pistons are excepting their championship rings right now on TV and are wearing Wrestling Champion Belts. This is cool.... i think.

I really hope we don't get lattrell. Talk about has been.. He's 34, vince is 27 and still one of the most athletic talents in the league. He also m ight have a chip on his shoulder this year, he has to pay his ex-agent 5 million us.

Ya I heard about that. Trust me. I'm the last person who wants Vince to leave. I hope he has a Cinderella season this year... In a raptors jersey.

I believe spree is in the last year of his contract. That means at the end of the year, cap space for a FA. I am still hopeful that carter can be a leader and buy into mitchell's system. What killed the raptors last year was the team would stand around waiting to see what vince would do. Bosh (almost typed bush???) and mo pete both have too good a work ethic and enough talent to work well in an active defence and running game.

Yes. Bosh is the man. Watch for Bosh to finally get the recognition he deserves this year. I have a feeling MoPete will also turn heads this year. Watch for him to drive to the hole more as opposed to settling for the outside jumper.

Thank God Rasheed got out of there. I used to hate watchin' him waste his career in Portland. He rocked in Detroits opener the other night. How bout them Lakers. So glad they suck now. Don't count on Mr. Bryant to keep sharing the ball. IMHO I'm looking forward to Ray Allen facing off against him.

the raps were a one man team last year, they all stood around waiting for vince to score 30 points and hand them the ball.
Chris bosh and a healthy Jalen rose will help make this team more balenced and the fast pace demanded by the coach will get everyone involved.
I hope the Raptors become a team, and not a bunch of players and Vince Carter.

Lets not forget this years 6th man...

Donyell Marshall. Heck, even Mo Pete is a candidate for 6th man. We've got a sick bench this year boys. What other team in the EAST has 3 starters coming off their bench?

I managed to catch quite a bit of the Rockets/Raptors game on Wed, thanks to my satellite dish, and I must say, I thought the Raptors looked really good. Great contributions from just about everybody, but on top of that, there just seemed to be an energy out there which I had not seen for a long time from the Raptors. I was really impressed with Rafer Alston, a guy who I thought did a nice job with the Heat last year. He is fast, and he can actually shoot, unlike Alvin Williams or Milt Palacio.

The Rockets looked bad. I don't think they will go too far with the point guard combo of Charlie Ward/Tyronn Lue.
