I worked with a Mike Hawk once... in retail years ago... just picture the office girl over the PA: "Mike Hawk, line 1 please, Mike Hawk, line 1"

(for the slower ones among you, say it out loud)

Silly names

I was in Argentina. I take one aunt to a city in another province and it turns out she had family there from her husband side and we stayed at one of her inlaws house. Get this she tells me the named of the people and I got confused.

Father - John
Mother - Jane
1st Son - John
1st Daughter and only - Jane
I got confuse by my aunt when she was telling me stories how great the daughter was and the mother before we arrived.
I would never name any of my kids [ if I ever have any] after any family member.

last name that is completely inappropriate for his profession.

There's a Dr. Shoals in Cambridge, but he's not a pediatrist.

(I'm Italian but don't approve of the names, southern Italians have a tradition of naming the first boy/girl after the grandparents, no matter how stupid it would sound. )

Actually knew a Jesuit Priest by that name (Fr. Fagot)

My wife also worked for a Dr. Butcher at one time.

Anyone who is III (the TURD!) is in for a hard time in school, though some schools will allow kids to enroll without using it.
