First you need to know the Internet address of the picture you want to insert. How you get it depends on which browser you're using. For Firefox, right-click the image on the web page, and select View Image Info from the shortcuts menu. If you are using Internet Explorer, right-click the picture, and select Properties from the shortcuts menu. Drag to select the Address/ URL, as sometimes part of it is hidden on a second or third line.
If you are planning to directly link the picture into the forum, (called hot linking), copy this information to the clipboard.
If you want to insert a picture that's on your computer, you first have to upload it to an image hosting site. like tinypic or imageshack. If you're doing that, copy the address of the uploaded picture.
Inserting picture in forum:
Manually: type the left square bracket, type img, type the right square bracket, paste the address of the picture, type left square bracket, type forward slash, type img, type right square bracket, in this format:
If you forget the formatting, click on Reply With Quote for a post that has successfully inserted a picture,
With Toolbar: Click the Reply or Reply With Quote button. Towards the upper right corner of the toolbar icons, you'll see a picture that looks like a tree with blue sky near the top. Click this icon, and paste the address of the image.
