One of mine is running free on my Grandparents farm without a care or worry in this world. Thinking I could never be hurt, that I was invincible and life just moved around me. If I think hard enough I can still bring back the smells while running free in the iopen fields.

Memories ....

Nailing it down to one is so difficult. Apart from the usual family picnic's and Christmas, I have two that I will alway's remember vividly:

- Learning how to ride a bike. The more time's I fell off, the more I wanted to learn.

- First time me and my best friend saw a topless woman. We were around 10 and playing in the backyard. All of a sudden, the neighbour's wife comes out with no top on to hang her washed clothes. I guess she didn't see us (or did she) because there were a few tall plant's between our fences. It was a weird experience. First, we laughed our head's off, and then told the rest our friends about the scene. Oh yeah !!!

It's been good to know ya
Picking up snakes from the woods and bringing them home as I knew my Mom was scared of snakes and scaring her with them. Other than that I was a good girl.

looking back at the result......

Our 2 Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs taking on a bear, that started coming over to where I was while I was playing with them, on our property. I was 4 at the time. The bear didn't make it, but the dogs did. :)

I was 10 and at the '76 Canada Cup in Maple Leaf Gardens. My dad took me back outside the dressing room after the game and waited for the players to come out for autographs. First one out was Bobby Orr. I held out my pen and program and he took it from me to sign. Then he looks down at me and I will never forget what he said to me next. He looked me straight in the eyes and said: hey kid, your pen doesn't work.

I still have the program and his barely visible autograph with a pen that didn't work. The program may be worth a few bucks because I got a lot of good signatures on it (Bobby Orr got me another pen from Rogie Vachon), but the memory is priceless.

Looking up at the sky..........................

Looking up at the sky and seeing the young girl that lived up on the second floor appartment hang her washing on the line and seeing her on her balcony with a good view up her skirt.

New comic day every Wednesday. Me and my friend would bus downtown after school or take our bicycles in the summer holidays.
