:p:p

Cheese
French onion soup
Spaghetti Bolognese
Lasagne
cabbage rolls
steak
watermelon
strawberries
bacon
my carrot pumpkin soup
my potato salad
my paella

Hehehe... LOL

Did I mention my French onion soup? ;)
Definitely with you Chloe, but why did it take 19 posts to get to bacon?! That should have been #1 post. And nothing beats a home made spaghetti bolognese slow cooked for 4 hours. #foodporn

I love bacon but am watching my figure. ;)

I think we talked before about a good Bolognese sauce - you need fresh carrots, fresh mushrooms and a nice red wine. :) Simmer it all afternoon and the house smells great!

Which restaurant?
World famous.
I've stood outside for over an hour in the slush and cold.
None of that f'n smoked meat poutine.
Double mustard, extra pickle.
Swartz's Classic. They still do their own meat in shop.
My heart gets nervous everytime I think about it.
3-4 days in Montreal, Swartz's 3-4 times.
There are others. You don't play with a classic.

I rarely drink anymore. Just lost my taste for it.
But at the end of a hot day there is nothing like sitting down and having an ice cold Barley sandwich.
Served in a chilled mug but preferably a chilled Pilsner glass. Poured slow down the side for minimal head.
I need more than one.

Yes, we did talk last time about a good Bolognese sauce. Great memory! :D I generally leave out the mushrooms since they basically melt and you can't taste them anyway. I tend to use beef, pork, beal, carrot, celery, onion, tomato paste and red wine.

I'm a coke addict.
I tolerate it most of the year.
Just before Passover Coke releases a Kosher version made with cane sugar and no corn sweetener. Like it used to be .
Out of this world.

Mexican coke is widely available in the US, sold in glass bottles with caps that need a bottle opener, and... made with cane sugar the old way. I don't duck a lot of pop but when I do that stuff is where it's at.

I could live without it though.

Can't live without? Bacon and eggs for breakfast after a late night out.
