I am proud of what I wrote in a recent thread post regarding whether or not I would change my habits after the new sex bill is implemented. This is what I wrote in that thread:

'I don't live my life to please politicians. I believe in the concept of voluntary cooperation. I don't need the government to pass a law to govern the way I interact with people in my private life. If I want to pay a woman for sex and time, I will do so, no matter how illegal it may become. And what does illegal mean, anyways? Illegal means to not follow words written on paper - made by politicians. And who the fuck respects politicians? Politicians are the scum of society - equivalent to drug dealers who sell meth to middle school students. Politicians are power hungry, money hungry, lieing assholes who would tax their own grandmother's only retiremend nest egg if it meant getting some insider benefit for themselves down the road.'

I am so proud I turned out to be the type of adult who can put such thoughts together and is willing to publish them on the internet. I say to the government....come and get me...fucktards. I will not submit! I am nobody's bitch and I will live my life freely or die trying. Fuck off to all those that like to control other people's lives.

I'm sure that your post stood out in the previous thread - no need for a feature headline return in an encore thread.

Methinks someone is confusing poet with poetaster. But hey, at least it has a lack of proofreading - gives it a kinda immediacy that in dim light might even be taken for sincerity.

Why do people always feel the need to stroke their own egos on here and act like they are the best, most intelligent, smartest, oozing with wit and superiority, figured it all out...etc then try to back track and cover once ppl catch on. This is evident in many posters on here to some degree...

I won't backtrack in any way. Don't worry.

Oh....yes. The overused, typical grammar and/or spelling-nazi motivated response. Most of the time, these type of responses are from people that can't retort with substance, yet feel so annoyed that they retort with such frills and fluffery.

Did I insult one of your cherished institutions - the government? Woe is me. Would you like a tissue and a back rub for your sorrows?

Tell me please, if perfect English usage is so valuable, why are English teachers not some of the most affluent members of society? Why does the market not reward English proficiency the way it does an Engineer or even a mechanic?

Answer: A strong English proficiency over a weaker one is worth very little to those that are able to choose what they want to consume in a free market.

Advice: Try to focus on substance. It takes more effort and knowledge to do so, but the contribution is always better.

Clearly, Dale Carnegie owes you a refund.
I had to google Dale Carnegie's name to discover who you were referring to. Maybe Dale should pay to receive my advice. I am the third most interesting person in the world, of course, behind Johnathan Goldsmith and Mongrel4u.

It takes more effort and knowledge to actually spell and use grammar correctly, but you can't be arsed. Why should I? Besides, arguing with someone who uses the above "logic" is like playing chess with a 2 year old. STOP EATING THE FUCKING PIECES! I can't even... it's just so un... I... that is... just... no.

But, just to show there are no hard feelings, here's a poem for you. This may well be, nay - this definitely is, the greatest poem I have ever posted on TERB...

There once was a man from TERB
Whose poetry did perturb
Knowing poetry from prose
Is for Nazis, I suppose
So just kick that shit to the curb

No. Wait. Here's a better one. I think that THIS is now the best poem I ever wrote on TERB....

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more blustery and ill-tempered.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
But the free market will sort it out, so that's OK.

Hold on. I have another one. And THIS one is DEFINITELY the greatest poem I, or perhaps anyone ever, has posted on TERB:

Bullshit, bullshit every where,
And all the boards did shrink;
Bullshit, bullshit, every where,
Nary a thought to think.

Let the market decide: O Christ!
The worth of all that could be!
Yea, slimy things did crawl with words
Upon the slimy screen.

...what, too derivative? But it's in the public domain, and the free market says we can use it without paying royalties. And THAT, my friend, is just good business sense. Still, there's no pleasing some people, so I wrote one last one. It's a Haiku. I wrote it just for you, and it reflects all the depth and soul-expanding wonder of your poetry, the free market, and the intersection of those two themes:

You suck.

Your love of government is easy to decipher. You wear proof of such, hardly hidden, for everyone to see. Those who take even a moment's notice of your posts in this thread will see it.

Why am I not surprised by this?
I had to google Dale Carnegie's name to discover who you were referring to. . .
Presumably you missed the part about How to Win Friends and Influence People.

. . . I am the third most interesting person in the world . . .
C'mon. Drop the false modesty.

You will be our Martyr. I hope you will challenge this law up to the SCC.

justsayso, baby, don't take any notice of these insulters and scoffers. You are the voice of refusing to conform to bad government decrees -- not as to how we should curb our behaviours to avoid hurting others -- but as to how we should behave in private, and how we should regard ourselves, when doing no harm.

You put me in mind of the subjects of that Ayn Rand piece "the inexplicable personal alchemy". (look it up on goodle - sorry, I can't seem to make the link work.)
