Hey you guys in this thread who registered within the past three months. Stop spamming threads with single line posts that don't contribute to anything other than to bump threads. Interestingly enough, the three posters above me all have about the same number of posts and the same style of writing where they don't use capitals or periods.

i can vouch from being to pattaya many times, any range of prices is possible, its all about what you can negotiate , sometimes you can really score a deal down there.

I must chime in here and offer my 2 cents worth....

I can vouch for the prices in Thailand. Hell, you can rent a house there for 300 CAN per month. I wanted to go that route, but decided for an apartment for the same money. Water, and electricity were extra. Take note of meter readings, as I'm sure I got gouged by them over this at the end of my visit. Visited Pattaya and was thinking about going to Phuket which is very popular but is more costly as a tourist, but never went. I liked the story of the rental of the motor bike for such a cheap price. Am not surprised about the gems to be had there like that, they abound in the plentiful. As far as the ladies go..... you can't swing a cat anywhere in Thailand without hitting a beautiful Thai gal. The climate is very warm, and I especially liked this seeing as how we missed our summer in '09. Haircut for 60 Baht ($1.80) food everywhere for 50 baht and up. As a tourist, you could apply for refund on value added tax, but things were had on the cheap so much that I said couldn't be bothered to fill in paperwork for what I had receipts for. Everything I experienced there was super and the majority of girls love white skin. Since I don't tan too well, at least I had that going for me. The whole experience reminded me of Montreal when I was a young buck. Joi de vivre (??spelling) as atmosphere, drinking in the streets, my god, it was just like a frat house the whole time I was there. They will tailor a suit for you for $100.00, and there are a gazillion other values to be had.

Again, I differ with this opinion. Just so readers understand, I am not calling any of these guys liars, but I think the picture being painted is far too rosy. I've been to Thailand 8 times. In total, I've spent a couple of years there, the longest trip being six months. Not trying to set myself up as the resident expert, I say this only to establish my experience.

The conditions described by Needs2Relax don't fit with my experience. Sure, you can find deals here and there, but "can't swing a cat without hitting a beautiful Thail girl? Suit for a $100.00?" We obviously have very different opinions regarding what constitutes beauty and value.

My last trip there was fairly recent. For the first time, I did not hobby. I was there with my girlfriend and had lots of friends to visit. But from what I saw and heard second hand, a short time looker in Phuket (which Needs2Relax correctly cites as more expensive), started at 1000 baht for short time. On off season mind you. Can you get laid for 500 baht? Probably. Would I want to?...Definitely no. Try and rent a house in Bangkok for $300.00 Cdn., or really any other notable centre. See what you get.

I started going to Thailand in 87. Yes, I rented a beach hut for $2.00 a day. Ate like a king for $1.00 and change. Had beautiful girls all night for $500 baht. Those days are simply long gone. These days, if you want to go to a popular better quality soapie, you can prepare to pay upwards of $2000.00 baht. Want to stay in a nice place? Depending on the time of year, prices will start anywhere from $500 baht and up per night. I expressed doubt about CF's bike deal. If he says he got it, I'm willing to believe him, but I'm telling you that's absolutely not the norm.

I agree Lucky, Frankly I was just there and I found Thailand to be a big disappointment for sex travel. Are there women, sure, but frankly I found them not that hot at all. meh. Thailand has lots to offer as a country, but if you want hot sexy women forget about it. I guess I have been spoiled by Latin women. My final thoughts about p4p in Thailland, I can't belive Thailand is a sex tourism destination, save the money as Toronto SP's are much better.

I agree with luckyjackson, but also agree with Cinema Face on several accounts. I completely disagree with Need2Relax though.

- You can rent a condo/apartment in Bangkok for as low as $300/month IF you shop around and sign a 1-year lease. Condos available for lease by ex-pats average $1200/month because unlike local Thais, ex-pats want a quicker return on investment.
- Motorbikes in towns like Pattaya, Phuket and Samui are available for rent at 100 baht/day. You won't find them everywhere, but it's available.
- Properly tailored suits can be as low as $120. This includes shirt, pants, jacket, vest and tie. The average is more $150-$180 though.
- Street food can be as low as 40 baht for chicken skewers. Mall cafeterias and food courts are 250-300 baht. English pubs, pizzerias, Italian, Indian -- pretty much anything not Thai and ex-pat owned will cost the same as in Canada at $6-$12. For the most part, businesses owned by ex-pats will cost more than what Thais would charge.
- In Bangkok, an inexpensive hotel can be had for $50-60/night. In Pattaya it would be $40/night. A 4- or 5-star international hotel chain would be $120-$300/night. Most others are in between.
- Short time with a girl is 1000-2500 baht. Long time is 1500-4500 baht. There are all sorts of factors including how desperate the girl is, how attractive you are, the time of day/night, your negotiating skills, etc.
- You have to love Asian women to enjoy Thailand as a sex destination. There are other countries which would cost less (Philippines, Cambodia, Ecuador, Dominican Republic for example), and I think guys tend to choose Thailand first because it's easier.

Nottyboi, you are right. I was about to mention that about Thai girls. These days, if you want a hot Thai girl, you've got to work at finding her. Most you find in the p4p areas are average. Yes, that's just my opinion. On my last few trips there, I had some real stunners, but hey, that's me. ;)

But seriously, I have enough of a Thai vocab to show the girls that I'm no newbie, and I'm familiar enough with Thailand to pick up girls outside the p4p areas....and I should say that incredibly beautiful women are to be had. In fact, when you find a truly beautiful Thai, I'd say it's difficult for any other type of woman to compete. I'm thinking of the northern ethnic Thais, a moderate slant to the eyes, golden hued skin, more often than not busty, but otherwise delicate of frame. Their beauty is almost other worldly. Or go to Q bar at night, many of those girls would be considered hot anywhere on the planet. It's not easy to pick up such chicks, but it's very much worth it.

Well yes there are many beautiful Thai women, but very few really beautiful hookers. And the good lookig massage girls give really lousy service. Frankly, in many cases the experience is inferior to jacking off to porn. In fact I would say in Asia I only met a couple of ladies that I felt were genuinely sensual and skilled. 1 in thailand and one in Bali... (out of about 12 in total)

It's a bar just of Sukumvhit, soi 7 or 11 can't remember which, but my feet take me there. Very hot girls, a mix of freelancers and pros who ask for premium $$$. If you know the ropes and spend some time, you can have some fun for reasonable money.

they have a place on Samui too, but I've never been.

can see some pics here.

Continued from previous post:

Leaving Thailand was a sad day indeed. Will I ever see Gail again? Maybe not. Anyway, this girl will haunt my dreams forever.

PM me if you want any details about accommodations or if you have any questions.
Lol, a lot of people fall on this trap, especially the first time they go there.
I've been to Thailand 3 times and I still find it a terrific place to go to.

This idea of temporary girlfriend was very amazing to me, and yet this was normal to everyone there.
Hang out during the day, then party at night and bring her to your hotel.
It's pretty tough to bring yourself back to coherence because they really show you a good time!
