The whole point of a VIP is for up close and personal, and if she ain't close, how can it be personal? Also if everyone is watching you, it ain't personal either. You DJs were the ones that coined the phrase about "if you want to see more of *******, UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL, ask her for a dance".

It might be one of the nicer clubs you've worked in, but they could turn the lights down a bit.

So we could use some imput from your perspective about SC life. Where else have you worked besides Hot Legs? What in your opinion makes a great Club? What can you do to set the mood, or fine tune the atmosphere. You are part of the sales package. Sell me and other guys on why we should visit your Club.

Forgive me if I'm short because I'm at work while writing this, but I've worked in a few different clubs around the country.

The Doc's Palace in Bellville

Tropicanna in Calgary

The El Greco in London

and here of course.

Maintaining the crowds spirit is key, and the girls you stage and thier music choices has a huge impact on how a night flows, ultimately it's best when I pick all thier music because i can read a crowd but generally most girls have a hard time with dancing to music thery are not familiar with. Trust me dealing with these girls on my end is alot different than you guys.

Thank you MyK. Now we have a new voice with a different perspective on SCs.

I agree, that the DJ has a huge job of keeping the crowd focused (besides the naked dancer on stage), playing the same sets too many times can make a trip to the SC a DEJA VU trip (girls will choreograph the same movements for a certain set), or playing the wrong song for the girl, may make for an awkward set.

I've worked as a dance club DJ back in the mid 80s, and keeping the pace going so they dance and drink, is challenging, but then sometimes, weddings can be harder.

Yes, I agree it is a touch too bright in this club and I'm currently working on getting that changed, but this set up was here before I was and I'm hoping to get this corrected A.S.A.P.

Well, I'm about to begin yet another night, so I'm off, maybe I can get these lights right, right now.

p.s. Thursday thru Saturday, our doorman assumes the responsibility of watching the VIP, so you don't have to worry about me watchin you guys at all.
