There's spyware with shareaza, and it keeps running in the tray after you exit.
No there isn't. You must have other spyware that you think you got from Shareaza. I've been using it for over 6 months.

limewire is great- clean files, wide selection, multiple simultaneous search, but I still miss the free Napster

The record industry says they are loosing billions going to illegally downloaded music. The truth is that most people would not buy a whole album every time they want to listen to a song nevermind keeping it. I download a whole bunch of music, 90 % of which I delete again because I don't like it or don't want to keep it.

I think most people are like me who download to sample and then get rid of it.

Downloading may be bad for the 50 Cent and Beyonce artists of the world, but it is a godsend for the new up and coming artists.
yeah right. look justify your stealing anyway you want, but unless these up and coming artists are sending you thank you cards for taking their music without paying for it- then you are just rationalizing your decision to steal

Not quite Red, some people feel its the end for the greedy recording industries and that it could start a new begining for indie artists.
The reason is that they can now record an album on their own, post it on their website and collect donations straight from the consumer. This bypasses the record companies and keeps all proceeds for the artists.
Thats why the suits are trying to fight this so hard

Is not stealing because the song is freely available online, I'm not stealing a real item like stealing a CD, is NOT stealing, I call it SHARING!
