HI everyone ....hope all is well! I love music and am very influenced by it. Needless to say the right music makes a huge difference to my sessions. What do you prefer as far as music? Do you like classical and relaxing , sexy hip hop/ r&b, others? Or do you prefer the girl to put on what she gets into? Or no music? Just digging arounds in those heads again :) thanks all

Nine Inch Nails. :) or john digweed.

There were some suggestions made in The Smoothed-Out Playlist - to set the mood.

I usually have outcalls - and I don`t even have a stereo system, so I couldn`t play any music even if I wanted to. On those few occasions when I have an in-call, I`d leave the choice of music, if any, entirely up to the girl - she`s setting the entire environment, music is a part of that and it just becomes part of the entire experience.

Interesting thread.......

Generally my choice is classical or 'soft rock' for a first encounter. Once the lady and I became more familiar the music chosen would reflect her tastes and interests - for example Coco from TOG shared some pretty Chinese pop music with me.

My very personal preferences are blues, traditional and celtic music. Celtic especially can provide beautiful, romantic, atmospheric, background music for a tryst.

Should I 'truly' connect with a lady I might share some of my own compositions - but this rarely happens.

Enigma type ambient tracks do the job; prog trance is fine if we both get a bit 'intoxicated'. I find jazz doesn't really click with the younger sp's.

But CG, Nine Inch Nail ? My Man, you like to slam them hard, don't ya !? Great choice BTW.

Kewl, thanks.

I mentioned NIN because most people would not recognize VNV Nation or Apoptygma Berzerk or Decoded Feedback.

tho some will definately recognize The Cure, and Siousxie&The Banshees.

I suggest that Skinny Puppy is not good shag music.

Cheers

I've always been partial to Santana's Abraxis.

Or soft jazz/blues...something with a low tenor sax....

Certain classical music is always effective too.

Blues Blues Blues
Did I mention Blues??

I often refer to it as music to get naked to.

A sexy woman that knows how to move to some good old Chicago Blues gets me every time

Out of curiosity, which songs from each of these bands, CG? I suspect something like Breathe from DF, maybe Kathy's Song from APB, and possibly Electronaut from VNV.....and don't you find that Covenant is good as well?

Just figured I'd just let you know you are not alone here. ;)

PAL (not P.A.L)
ok, short playlist? [winks]

The Damned - "Shadow of Love", "Grimly Fiendish"
The Cure "Fascination Street"
Forgotten Rebels - "I think of HER"
Project Pitchfork - "Temptation" and "Tower of Lust" and "Celeste" from the chakra red albumn,
Apoptygma - "all tomorrows parties" , "deep red"
DF - "bio vital"
Covenant - "tension"
Einsturzende Neubauten - "SAND" [blixa's love song to Lydia Lunch]
Love&Rockets - "Haunted when the minutes drag" [beautiful meaningful song]
NIN - CLOSER
The Horrorist "one nite in NYC [pascal feos remix]"
VNV nation - "Darkangel [gabriel]" , Rubicon, Legion
RevCo - "linger ficking good" , "Gila Copter [with w.s. burroughs]"
MINISTRY - "NWO"
Garbage - "Alien Sex Fiend"

AND...

Siouxsie & The Banshees; NOCTURNE, [or JuJu]

oh... and just for balance:
a set of songs for those "special people" in my life who helped make me the happy cheerful cyborg that I am today...

Dead Kennedys - "Soup is good food"
NIN - "Head Like A Hole"
Gary Numan - "Angel Wars"
Garbage - "VOW"

ok, so thats a short playlist. as I mentioned to a special friend recently, we gothick/cyberpunk types tend to find music to be especially meaningful, a much more elegant method of conveying complex sets of emotions etc without the limitations of language.

Life is better with a sound track.

The complete album of Mike Oldfield's Tublar bells.

It is a combination of Classical and Fussion music. A musical journery through the spectrum and the senses. Before anyone asks. Yes a portion of it was used as the theme from the Exorsist.

Longfirmleggss , nazareth,s version of Love Hurts is great. But Roy Orbison,s version is just as good. BTW , have you heard Hair of the Dog by Nazareth? A great rocking tune.

Ah, skinny puppy ....... those were such great times ,nettwerk before madam Sarah.

Personally, some tracks from skinny puppy are quite " do-able " type of music. The groove and bpm are just, right ,for the rhythm.

worlock, addiction ( some remix version ),dig it. May be testure, censor. But the first 3 are my fav from Skinny puppy.

As for their good old Al Jourgensen influenced track, Tin Omen, fine for some hard banging moment. I am more partial to the synth/samples driven type of industrial music, or more specifically, EBM.

Others:
Hearts and minds ( some remixed version ) by Nitzer EBB.
over the shoulder by Ministry ( love that track, love that.. )

CG, Einsturzendey Neubauten !?! Now this is some excellent ,heavy duty stuff. You also mentioned love & rockets......actually, a great track which I used for shagging is "Bela Lugosi's Dead" from Bauhaus..........damn , it was niiiiiiiiiiice and long. Thanks for bringing up Skinny Puppy, it sure spiced up the whole terb for me, in a good way.

I found that listening to neubauten's HEADCLEANER goes well with major dental surgery.... it drowns out the crunchy noises as the dentists drillbit hits the shrapnel [formerly] embedded in my jawbone......

hehe, a cd compilation...

"Music to have your teeth drilled by...." Volume one: AGONY & Metaphysical FELLATIO" The Videos....

twitch I'm feeling much better now, twitch twitch had a wonderful time yesterday with boobookittifuck[TNG]
LIFE is much nicer with a soundtrack
