Kadir Anlayisli, who works at the Internet café on Karl Marx Strasse in the Neukolln district of Berlin, spotted the 29-year-old Magnotta at a terminal and called police on Monday.
Anlayisli, 42, told a Turkish-language newspaper in Germany that he recognized Magnotta, the subject of an international manhunt.

It would be advisable for everyone to disregard this post. It is filled with nothing but less than a layman's understanding of Clinical/Forensic Psychology, and is really nothing more than mis/disinformation.I have also developed a sense to detect sociopaths, there are many in society. Unfortunately you can not always detect them until it is too late. I have met several in my life. My sixth sense have picked out a few sociopaths that I have met in my life. Most of them women that were trying to use me. The best way to handle the situation is to cut it off clean and walk away. I know of a situation where a sociopath master manipulator has a grip on his family and friends. He controls and manipulates them for his own entertainment at high cost to them. This guy would do things like inflicting pain on people using the excuse that it is a joke. I have seen him ask a person they would like to see a match burn twice. He would light the match and the blow it out and tell the person that he would make the match burn again. He would then press the still hot match into the arm of that person and laugh. Both sociopaths and psychopaths lack empathy for other people do things that normal people would not do. In this case the murderer is a psychopath, this is a person that will go to extremes like murder to satisfy his own needs or curiosities.
While this is not proven fact, and only theory. Magnotta has the classic T face. Many women that drink alcohol or take drugs during their pregnancy will have children born with T faces and exhibit antisocial and destructive behavior, Many are sociopathic/psychopathic.
You do no one any service by making these kinds of statements. I do not think you really know what the terms sociopath, psychopath, empathy et al actually mean. You certainly have no understanding of Psychological diagnoses.
(The match burn twice prank is not in and of itself an indicator of anything)

I guess in your world that kind of behavior is quite acceptable and considered a playful prank. In my world you have to lack empathy to burn another person OK?

Then in your world you do not understand the term 'empathy'. The nature of the prank necessitates that the person know how the individual being 'matched' is going to feel. And the fact that this was done to a woman is irrelevant. The person is merely an asshole. It isn't pathology.
